「如果有人被火燒傷，患處變白或白中帶紅，

雲彩從會幕上離開的時候，米利暗身上患了痲瘋病，像雪一樣白。亞倫見狀，便對摩西說：「我主啊，求你不要因我們愚昧犯罪而懲罰我們。求你不要讓她像那一出母腹便半身腐爛的死胎。」

但如果他身上出現潰爛之處，他便不潔淨。祭司看到他身上的潰爛之處，就要宣佈他是不潔淨的，因為那潰爛之處表明他患了痲瘋病。

祭司要檢查患處，如果患處凹陷，患處的毛髮變白，就是痲瘋病，要宣佈他是不潔淨的。如果那人的患處有白斑，沒有凹陷，患處的毛髮也沒有變白，祭司要把他隔離七天。

世人不會恨你們，只會恨我，因為我指證他們行為邪惡。

光來到世上，世人因為自己的行為邪惡而不愛光，反愛黑暗，這就是他們被定罪的原因。作惡的人恨光，不肯接近光，恐怕他們的罪行暴露出來。
