若婦無力獻羊、則可用二鳲鳩、或二雛鴿、一為火焚祭、一為贖罪祭、祭司為其贖罪、彼乃為潔、

“ If a woman cannot afford to bring a lamb, she must bring two turtledoves or two young pigeons. One will be for the burnt offering and the other for the purification offering. The priest will sacrifice them to purify her, and she will be ceremonially clean.”

And if his oblation to Jehovah be a burnt- offering of birds, then he shall offer his oblation of turtle- doves, or of young pigeons.

And on the eighth day he shall take to him two turtle- doves, or two young pigeons, and come before Jehovah unto the door of the tent of meeting, and give them unto the priest:

For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might become rich.

And when the days of their purification according to the law of Moses were fulfilled, they brought him up to Jerusalem, to present him to the Lord( as it is written in the law of the Lord, Every male that openeth the womb shall be called holy to the Lord),and to offer a sacrifice according to that which is said in the law of the Lord, A pair of turtledoves, or two young pigeons.
