I am the Lord, who brought you up out of Egypt to be your God; therefore be holy, because I am holy.

『我永恆主乃是你的上帝，曾把你從埃及地從為奴之家領出來的。

因為我永恆主是你們的上帝；你們要潔淨自己為聖，而成聖別，因為我是聖的；你們總不可因爬在地上的任何滋生動物而使自己不潔淨。

我要拿你們當作我的子民；我要做你們的上帝；你們要認識我是永恆主、你們的上帝、是領你們從埃及人所加的重擔下出來的。

上帝並不是召我們去沾染污穢，乃是召我們於聖化的。

因為經上記着說：『你們要聖潔，因為我是聖潔』。

他領了他的人民歡躍地出來，帶了他的選民呼勝地前進。他將列國之地賜給他們，他們便將萬族之民勞碌得來的、擁為己業，為要使他們遵守他的律例，恪守他的律法。哈利路亞！

我永恆主是你們的上帝，曾把你們從埃及地領出來、為的是要把迦南地賜給你們、要做你們的上帝的。

以色列年幼時，我就愛了他，就呼叫我兒子出埃及。
