Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, These are the living things which ye may eat among all the beasts that are on the earth.

「你們把以下條例告訴以色列人。「地上的動物，

“你們要告訴以色列人：地上所有的走獸中，你們可以吃的動物，就是這些：

『你們要告訴以色列人說：以下這些活物是地上一切走獸中你們可以喫的。

告以色列族云、地上牲畜、有可食者、

告以色列族云、世之牲畜、有可食者、今詳言之。

爾告以色列人云、地上走獸、爾所可食者、

“ Say to the Israelites:‘ Of all the animals that live on land, these are the ones you may eat:

“ Speak to the Israelites. Tell them,‘ Many animals live on land. Here are the only ones you can eat.

“ Speak to the people of Israel, saying, These are the living things that you may eat among all the animals that are on the earth.

“ Give the following instructions to the people of Israel.“ Of all the land animals, these are the ones you may use for food.

“ Tell the Israelites: You may eat all these kinds of land animals.

“ Speak to the sons of Israel, saying,‘ These are the creatures which you may eat from all the animals that are on the earth.

“ Speak to the children of Israel, saying,‘ These are the animals which you may eat among all the animals that are on the earth:

“ Tell the Israelites: You may eat all these kinds of land animals.

Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, These[ are] the beasts which ye shall eat among all the beasts that[ are] on the earth.

“ Tell the Israelites:‘ This is the kind of creature you may eat from among all the animals that are on the land.

“ Speak to the children of Israel, saying,‘ These are the living things which you may eat among all the animals that are on the earth.

Not that which entereth into the mouth defileth the man; but that which proceedeth out of the mouth, this defileth the man.

being only( with meats and drinks and divers washings) carnal ordinances, imposed until a time of reformation.

and they shall be an abomination unto you; ye shall not eat of their flesh, and their carcasses ye shall have in abomination.

And these ye shall have in abomination among the birds; they shall not be eaten, they are an abomination: the eagle, and the gier- eagle, and the ospray,

And every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth is an abomination; it shall not be eaten.Whatsoever goeth upon the belly, and whatsoever goeth upon all fours, or whatsoever hath many feet, even all creeping things that creep upon the earth, them ye shall not eat; for they are an abomination.Ye shall not make yourselves abominable with any creeping thing that creepeth, neither shall ye make yourselves unclean with them, that ye should be defiled thereby.For I am Jehovah your God: sanctify yourselves therefore, and be ye holy; for I am holy: neither shall ye defile yourselves with any manner of creeping thing that moveth upon the earth.

wherein were all manner of fourfooted beasts and creeping things of the earth and birds of the heaven.And there came a voice to him, Rise, Peter; kill and eat.But Peter said, Not so, Lord; for I have never eaten anything that is common and unclean.

I know, and am persuaded in the Lord Jesus, that nothing is unclean of itself: save that to him who accounteth anything to be unclean, to him it is unclean.For if because of meat thy brother is grieved, thou walkest no longer in love. Destroy not with thy meat him for whom Christ died.

But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the king’s dainties, nor with the wine which he drank: therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself.

All food therein which may be eaten, that on which water cometh, shall be unclean; and all drink that may be drunk in every such vessel shall be unclean.

And these are they which are unclean unto you among the creeping things that creep upon the earth: the weasel, and the mouse, and the great lizard after its kind,

These may ye eat of all that are in the waters: whatsoever hath fins and scales in the waters, in the seas, and in the rivers, that may ye eat.

Thou shalt not eat any abominable thing.These are the beasts which ye may eat: the ox, the sheep, and the goat,the hart, and the gazelle, and the roebuck, and the wild goat, and the pygarg, and the antelope, and the chamois.And every beast that parteth the hoof, and hath the hoof cloven in two, and cheweth the cud, among the beasts, that may ye eat.Nevertheless these ye shall not eat of them that chew the cud, or of them that have the hoof cloven: the camel, and the hare, and the coney; because they chew the cud but part not the hoof, they are unclean unto you.And the swine, because he parteth the hoof but cheweth not the cud, he is unclean unto you: of their flesh ye shall not eat, and their carcasses ye shall not touch.These ye may eat of all that are in the waters: whatsoever hath fins and scales may ye eat;and whatsoever hath not fins and scales ye shall not eat; it is unclean unto you.Of all clean birds ye may eat.But these are they of which ye shall not eat: the eagle, and the gier- eagle, and the ospray,and the glede, and the falcon, and the kite after its kind,and every raven after its kind,and the ostrich, and the night- hawk, and the sea- mew, and the hawk after its kind,the little owl, and the great owl, and the horned owl,and the pelican, and the vulture, and the cormorant,and the stork, and the heron after its kind, and the hoopoe, and the bat.And all winged creeping things are unclean unto you: they shall not be eaten.Of all clean birds ye may eat.Ye shall not eat of anything that dieth of itself: thou mayest give it unto the sojourner that is within thy gates, that he may eat it; or thou mayest sell it unto a foreigner: for thou art a holy people unto Jehovah thy God. Thou shalt not boil a kid in its mother’s milk.

Yet these may ye eat of all winged creeping things that go upon all fours, which have legs above their feet, wherewith to leap upon the earth;

For every creature of God is good, and nothing is to be rejected, if it be received with thanksgiving:for it is sanctified through the word of God and prayer.If thou put the brethren in mind of these things, thou shalt be a good minister of Christ Jesus, nourished in the words of the faith, and of the good doctrine which thou hast followed until now:

Nevertheless these shall ye not eat of them that chew the cud, or of them that part the hoof: the camel, because he cheweth the cud but parteth not the hoof, he is unclean unto you.

there is nothing from without the man, that going into him can defile him; but the things which proceed out of the man are those that defile the man.

Be not carried away by divers and strange teachings: for it is good that the heart be established by grace; not by meats, wherein they that occupied themselves were not profited.

And if any beast, of which ye may eat, die; he that toucheth the carcass thereof shall be unclean until the even.

Then said I, Ah Lord Jehovah! behold, my soul hath not been polluted; for from my youth up even till now have I not eaten of that which dieth of itself, or is torn of beasts; neither came there abominable flesh into my mouth.

One man hath faith to eat all things: but he that is weak eateth herbs.Let not him that eateth set at nought him that eateth not; and let not him that eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him.
