既然人不愿意真正认识神，神就任凭他们存败坏的理性，去做那些不该做的事。他们充满了各种不义、邪恶、贪心、恶毒；满心是嫉妒、凶杀、纷争、欺诈、狠毒；他们搬弄是非、诽谤人、憎恨神、侮慢人、骄傲、自夸、制造恶行、悖逆父母、愚昧无知、不守信用、没有亲情、毫无怜悯。人虽然知道神的公义规定是：行这样事的人是该死的；然而他们不仅自己去做，还赞同做这些事的人。

其实，我们从前也是无知、悖逆、被迷惑的，做各种欲望和享乐的奴仆，活在恶毒和嫉妒中，是可憎恶的，又彼此相恨。
