“ You are to abhor these birds. They must not be eaten because they are abhorrent: eagles, bearded vultures, Egyptian vultures,

‘ Moreover, these you shall detest among the birds; they are detestable, not to be eaten: the eagle, the vulture, and the buzzard,

‘ And these you shall regard as an abomination among the birds; they shall not be eaten, they are an abomination: the eagle, the vulture, the buzzard,

And these ye shall have in abomination among the birds; they shall not be eaten, they are an abomination: the eagle, and the gier- eagle, and the ospray,

他們的喉嚨是敞開的墳墓，舌頭上盡是詭詐，嘴唇有蛇的毒液，滿口咒詛，言語惡毒；殺人流血，腳步飛快；所到之處，大肆毀滅；平安之路，他們未曾知道；

既然他們故意不認識上帝，上帝就任憑他們心思敗壞，做不當做的事。他們心裡塞滿了各種不義、邪惡、貪婪、陰險、嫉妒、兇殺、紛爭、詭詐、惡毒；說長道短、背後批評、怨恨上帝、欺侮別人、心驕氣傲、自高自大、自我吹捧、無惡不作、違背父母、愚鈍無知、不守信用、無情無義、毫無憐憫。他們明知，按上帝公義的法則，做這些事的人該死，不但執迷不悟，還喜歡別人跟他們同流合污。

「吹響號角警告眾人吧！敵人要如鷹撲向耶和華的家，因為百姓背棄我的約，違背我的律法。

不可吃的鳥類有鵰、胡兀鷲、黑禿鷲、鳶、隼類、烏鴉類、駝鳥、夜鷹、海鷗、鷹類、小鴞、大鴞、倉鴞、鵜鶘、魚鷹、鸕鷀、鸛、鷺鳥類、戴鵀和蝙蝠。「凡有翅膀、會爬的昆蟲都不潔淨，你們不可吃。凡有翅膀的潔淨之物，你們都可以吃。

「他們的馬比豹子還快，比夜狼還猛。他們的騎兵從遠方飛馳而來，如鷹撲食。

禿鷹騰飛，在高處搭窩，豈是奉你的命令？牠居住在懸崖上，盤踞在山岩峭壁，牠從那裡搜尋獵物，牠的目光直達遠方。牠的幼雛噬血，哪裡有屍體，牠就在哪裡。」

礦中的路徑，猛禽不知道，鷹眼也未曾見過，

看啊，仇敵必如雲湧來，他的戰車快如旋風，他的戰馬比飛鷹還快。我們有禍了！我們滅亡了！

從前我們也愚蠢、悖逆、易受迷惑，受各種私慾和享樂的驅使，心裡充滿了嫉妒和惡念，令人憎惡，也彼此憎恨。

屍體在哪裡，禿鷹就會聚集在哪裡。

耶和華說：「看啊，敵人必像展翅疾飛的大鷹一樣來攻擊摩押。

烏鴉的幼雛餓得飛來飛去，向上帝哀鳴時，誰供應烏鴉食物？

耶和華說：「我的子民愚頑，不認識我，是蒙昧無知的兒女，只知行惡，不知行善。」

追趕我們的人比飛鷹更快，他們在山上追捕我們，在曠野伏擊我們。
