此贖罪祭牲、何未食之於聖所、此為至聖、主賜之於爾、以任會眾之愆尤、在主前為其贖罪、

“ Why didn’t you eat the sin offering in the sanctuary area? It is most holy; it was given to you to take away the guilt of the community by making atonement for them before the Lord.

“ Why didn’t you eat the sin offering in a place near the Holy Room? The offering is very holy. It was given to you to take the people’s guilt away. It paid for their sin in the sight of the Lord.

“ Why have you not eaten the sin offering in the place of the sanctuary, since it is a thing most holy and has been given to you that you may bear the iniquity of the congregation, to make atonement for them before the Lord?

“ Why didn’t you eat the sin offering in the sacred area?” he demanded.“ It is a holy offering! The Lord has given it to you to remove the guilt of the community and to purify the people, making them right with the Lord.

“ Why didn’t you eat the sin offering in the sanctuary area? For it is especially holy, and he has assigned it to you to take away the guilt of the community and make atonement for them before the LORD.

“ Why did you not eat the sin offering at the holy place? For it is most holy, and He gave it to you to take away the guilt of the congregation, to make atonement for them before the Lord.

“ Why have you not eaten the sin offering in a holy place, since it is most holy, and God has given it to you to bear the guilt of the congregation, to make atonement for them before the Lord?

Wherefore have ye not eaten the sin- offering in the place of the sanctuary, seeing it is most holy, and he hath given it you to bear the iniquity of the congregation, to make atonement for them before Jehovah?

“ Why didn’t you eat the sin offering in the sanctuary area? For it is especially holy, and He has assigned it to you to take away the guilt of the community and make atonement for them before the Lord.

Wherefore have ye not eaten the sin offering in the holy place, seeing it[ is] most holy, and[ God] hath given it you to bear the iniquity of the congregation, to make atonement for them before the LORD?

“ Why did you not eat the sin offering in the sanctuary? For it is most holy and he gave it to you to bear the iniquity of the congregation, to make atonement on their behalf before the LORD.

“ Why haven’t you eaten the sin offering in the place of the sanctuary, since it is most holy, and he has given it to you to bear the iniquity of the congregation, to make atonement for them before Yahweh?

耶和華對亞倫說：「你和你的兒子及親族要承擔觸犯聖所的罪責；你和你兒子也要承擔觸犯祭司職務的罪責。

亞倫要把這金牌戴在額上，表示他承擔以色列人獻聖物時的過犯，這聖物是以色列百姓特別獻上的禮物。這金牌要常常留在亞倫的額上，好使百姓蒙耶和華悅納。

以免有人因擅自吃聖物而擔罪、受罰。我是使聖物聖潔的耶和華。」

這隻公山羊擔當他們的一切罪，將這一切罪帶到荒無人煙的地方。

祂被釘在十字架上，親身擔當了我們的罪，使我們向著罪死了，可以過公義的生活。因祂所受的鞭傷，你們得到了醫治。

「你們會問，『兒子為什麼不用承擔父親的罪惡呢？』這是因為兒子秉公行義，謹遵我的律例，所以他必活著。誰犯罪，誰死亡，兒子不用承擔父親的罪惡，父親也不用承擔兒子的罪惡。義人必有善報，惡人必有惡報。

「你要向左側臥，擔當以色列人的罪惡。要用你向左側臥的天數擔當以色列人的罪惡。他們犯罪多少年，我要讓你側臥多少天。你要擔當以色列人的罪惡三百九十天。然後，你再向右側臥，擔當猶大的罪惡四十天。你側臥的天數代表他們犯罪的年數。

次日，約翰看見耶穌走過來，就說：「看啊！上帝的羔羊，除去世人罪惡的！

上帝使無罪的基督擔當我們的罪，使我們可以藉著基督成為被上帝接納的義人。

我們都像迷路的羊，各人偏行己路，但上帝卻讓祂承擔我們眾人的罪惡。祂遭欺壓、受痛苦，卻默然不語，像被人牽去宰殺的羔羊，又如在剪毛人手下一聲不吭的綿羊。祂被逮捕，受審判，被處死。祂那個世代的人誰會想到祂受鞭打、從世上被除去是因為我百姓的過犯呢？雖然祂沒有做過殘暴之事，口中也沒有詭詐，人卻將祂與惡人同葬，祂死後葬在富人的墓穴。然而，祂被壓傷、受痛苦是耶和華的旨意；祂的性命作了贖罪祭，祂必看見自己的後裔，祂必長久活著。耶和華的旨意必在祂手中實現。祂必看見自己勞苦的成果，並心滿意足。耶和華說：「我公義的僕人必憑祂的知識使許多人被算為義人，祂要擔當他們的罪惡。

祭司家的任何男子都可以吃剩下的祭肉，但要在聖潔之處吃，因為這是至聖之物。祭物要歸主持祭禮的祭司，這一條例也適用於贖罪祭。

同樣，基督為了承擔世人的罪，也曾一次獻上自己。祂還要再來，不是來除罪，而是來拯救那些熱切等候祂的人。

亞倫父子們進出會幕或到聖所的祭壇事奉的時候，都要穿上褲子，免得因為觸犯聖禮而死亡。這是亞倫及其子孫永遠當遵守的條例。

耶和華對摩西說：「你把以下贖罪祭的條例告訴亞倫及其子孫。「贖罪祭是至聖的，要在殺燔祭牲的地方，在耶和華面前宰祭牲。獻這祭的祭司要在會幕院子裡的聖潔之處吃這祭牲。凡接觸到這些祭肉的，都會變得聖潔。如果衣服被濺上血，則要在聖潔之處把衣服洗淨。用來煮祭肉的瓦鍋，用後都要打碎。如果用的是銅鍋，要擦乾淨並用水沖洗。這些祭肉是至聖之物，祭司家族中的男子都可以吃。如果祭牲的血被帶進會幕，在聖所內進行贖罪，就不可吃祭肉，必須全部燒掉。
