“‘ If the offering is a burnt offering from the herd, you are to offer a male without defect. You must present it at the entrance to the tent of meeting so that it will be acceptable to the Lord.

“‘ If someone brings a burnt offering from the herd, they must offer a male animal. It must not have any flaws. They must bring it to the entrance to the tent of meeting. Then the Lord will accept it.

“ If his offering is a burnt offering from the herd, he shall offer a male without blemish. He shall bring it to the entrance of the tent of meeting, that he may be accepted before the Lord.

“ If the animal you present as a burnt offering is from the herd, it must be a male with no defects. Bring it to the entrance of the Tabernacle so you may be accepted by the Lord.

If his offering is a burnt offering from the herd, he shall offer a male without defect; he shall offer it at the doorway of the tent of meeting, so that he may be accepted before the Lord.

‘ If his offering is a burnt sacrifice of the herd, let him offer a male without blemish; he shall offer it of his own free will at the door of the tabernacle of meeting before the Lord.

If his oblation be a burnt- offering of the herd, he shall offer it a male without blemish: he shall offer it at the door of the tent of meeting, that he may be accepted before Jehovah.

“ If his gift is a burnt offering from the herd, he is to bring an unblemished male. He must bring it to the entrance to the tent of meeting so that he may be accepted by the Lord.

If his offering[ be] a burnt sacrifice of the herd, let him offer a male without blemish: he shall offer it of his own voluntary will at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation before the LORD.

“‘ If his offering is a burnt offering from the herd he must present it as a flawless male; he must present it at the entrance of the Meeting Tent for its acceptance before the LORD.

“‘ If his offering is a burnt offering from the herd, he shall offer a male without defect. He shall offer it at the door of the Tent of Meeting, that he may be accepted before Yahweh.

But if there is a defect in the animal, if it is lame or blind or has any serious defect, you may not sacrifice it to the LORD your God.

how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without blemish to God, cleanse our consciences from dead works so that we can serve the living God?

You must have an unblemished animal, a year-old male; you may take it from either the sheep or the goats.

must offer an unblemished male from the cattle, sheep, or goats in order for you to be accepted.You are not to present anything that has a defect, because it will not be accepted on your behalf.“ When a man presents a fellowship sacrifice to the LORD to fulfill a vow or as a freewill offering from the herd or flock, it has to be unblemished to be acceptable; there must be no defect in it.You are not to present any animal to the LORD that is blind, injured, maimed, or has a running sore, festering rash, or scabs; you may not put any of them on the altar as a food offering to the LORD.You may sacrifice as a freewill offering any animal from the herd or flock that has an elongated or stunted limb, but it is not acceptable as a vow offering.You are not to present to the LORD anything that has bruised, crushed, torn, or severed testicles; you must not sacrifice them in your land.

After he says above, You did not desire or delight in sacrifices and offerings, whole burnt offerings and sin offerings( which are offered according to the law),he then says, See, I have come to do your will. He takes away the first to establish the second.By this will, we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all time.

For through him we both have access in one Spirit to the Father.

“ Do not sacrifice to the LORD your God an ox or sheep with a defect or any serious flaw, for that is detestable to the LORD your God.

Instead, turn to the place the LORD your God chooses from all your tribes to put his name for his dwelling and go there.You are to bring there your burnt offerings and sacrifices, your tenths and personal contributions, your vow offerings and freewill offerings, and the firstborn of your herds and flocks.

Abraham answered,“ God himself will provide the lamb for the burnt offering, my son.” Then the two of them walked on together.

He did this to present the church to himself in splendor, without spot or wrinkle or anything like that, but holy and blameless.

Present a burnt offering, a food offering, a pleasing aroma to the LORD: thirteen young bulls, two rams, and fourteen male lambs a year old. They are to be unblemished.

For this is the kind of high priest we need: holy, innocent, undefiled, separated from sinners, and exalted above the heavens.

“ Command Aaron and his sons: This is the law of the burnt offering; the burnt offering itself must remain on the altar’s hearth all night until morning, while the fire of the altar is kept burning on it.The priest is to put on his linen robe and linen undergarments. He is to remove the ashes of the burnt offering the fire has consumed on the altar, and place them beside the altar.Then he will take off his garments, put on other clothes, and bring the ashes outside the camp to a ceremonially clean place.The fire on the altar is to be kept burning; it must not go out. Every morning the priest will burn wood on the fire. He is to arrange the burnt offering on the fire and burn the fat portions from the fellowship offerings on it.Fire must be kept burning on the altar continually; it must not go out.

For on my holy mountain, Israel’s high mountain— the declaration of the Lord GOD— there the entire house of Israel, all of them, will serve me in the land. There I will accept them and will require your contributions and choicest gifts, all your holy offerings.

Each person should do as he has decided in his heart— not reluctantly or out of compulsion, since God loves a cheerful giver.

“ If his offering is a fellowship sacrifice, and he is presenting an animal from the herd, whether male or female, he is to present one without blemish before the LORD.

Your people will volunteer on your day of battle. In holy splendor, from the womb of the dawn, the dew of your youth belongs to you.

“ What are all your sacrifices to me?” asks the LORD.“ I have had enough of burnt offerings and rams and the fat of well-fed cattle; I have no desire for the blood of bulls, lambs, or male goats.

Then burn the whole ram on the altar; it is a burnt offering to the LORD. It is a pleasing aroma, a food offering to the LORD.

Abraham looked up and saw a ram caught in the thicket by its horns. So Abraham went and took the ram and offered it as a burnt offering in place of his son.

Then he sent out young Israelite men, and they offered burnt offerings and sacrificed bulls as fellowship offerings to the LORD.

Present a burnt offering to the LORD, a pleasing aroma: one young bull, one ram, and seven male lambs a year old. All your animals are to be unblemished.Their grain offering is to be of fine flour mixed with oil, six quarts with the bull, four quarts with the ram,and two quarts with each of the seven lambs.Offer one male goat for a sin offering. The regular burnt offering with its grain offering and drink offerings are in addition to the sin offering of atonement.

The angel replied to her,“ The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. Therefore, the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God.

Early the next morning they arose, offered burnt offerings, and presented fellowship offerings. The people sat down to eat and drink, and got up to party.

I delight to do your will, my God, and your instruction is deep within me.”

This will be a regular burnt offering throughout your generations at the entrance to the tent of meeting before the LORD, where I will meet you to speak with you.

Be careful not to offer your burnt offerings in all the sacred places you see.You must offer your burnt offerings only in the place the LORD chooses in one of your tribes, and there you must do everything I command you.

I am the gate. If anyone enters by me, he will be saved and will come in and go out and find pasture.

“ The deceiver is cursed who has an acceptable male in his flock and makes a vow but sacrifices a defective animal to the Lord. For I am a great King,” says the LORD of Armies,“ and my name will be feared among the nations.

Then Noah built an altar to the LORD. He took some of every kind of clean animal and every kind of clean bird and offered burnt offerings on the altar.

“ Take your son,” he said,“ your only son Isaac, whom you love, go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains I will tell you about.”

For you know that you were redeemed from your empty way of life inherited from your ancestors, not with perishable things like silver or gold,but with the precious blood of Christ, like that of an unblemished and spotless lamb.

Sword, awake against my shepherd, against the man who is my associate— this is the declaration of the LORD of Armies. Strike the shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered; I will turn my hand against the little ones.

They took from Moses’s presence all the contributions that the Israelites had brought for the task of making the sanctuary. Meanwhile, the people continued to bring freewill offerings morning after morning.

Balaam said to Balak,“ Stay here by your burnt offering while I am gone. Maybe the LORD will meet with me. I will tell you whatever he reveals to me.” So he went to a barren hill.

Everyone whose heart was moved and whose spirit prompted him came and brought an offering to the LORD for the work on the tent of meeting, for all its services, and for the holy garments.

Then he presented the ram for the burnt offering, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the ram.

but he washed the entrails and legs with water. He then burned the entire ram on the altar. It was a burnt offering for a pleasing aroma, a food offering to the LORD as he had commanded Moses.

but does not bring it to the entrance to the tent of meeting to sacrifice it to the LORD, that person is to be cut off from his people.

“ If the sacrifice he offers is a vow or a freewill offering, it is to be eaten on the day he presents his sacrifice, and what is left over may be eaten on the next day.

So the Israelites brought a freewill offering to the LORD, all the men and women whose hearts prompted them to bring something for all the work that the LORD, through Moses, had commanded to be done.

Who has counted the dust of Jacob or numbered even one-fourth of Israel? Let me die the death of the upright; let the end of my life be like theirs.“ What have you done to me?” Balak asked Balaam.“ I brought you to curse my enemies, but look, you have only blessed them!”

Bezalel constructed the altar of burnt offering from acacia wood. It was square, 7½ feet long and 7½ feet wide, and was 4½ feet high.

Next he will take the two goats and place them before the LORD at the entrance to the tent of meeting.

instead of bringing it to the entrance to the tent of meeting to present it as an offering to the LORD before his tabernacle— that person will be considered guilty. He has shed blood and is to be cut off from his people.

Bring Aaron and his sons to the entrance to the tent of meeting and wash them with water.

Take up an offering among you for the LORD. Let everyone whose heart is willing bring this as the LORD’s offering: gold, silver, and bronze;

or someone informs him about the sin he has committed, he is to bring an unblemished male goat as his offering.

For if the eagerness is there, the gift is acceptable according to what a person has, not according to what he does not have.

Jesus said again,“ Truly I tell you, I am the gate for the sheep.

God is not a man, that he might lie, or a son of man, that he might change his mind. Does he speak and not act, or promise and not fulfill?

Again Balak said to Balaam,“ Please come. I will take you to another place. Maybe it will be agreeable to God that you can put a curse on them for me there.”

So Balak did as Balaam said and offered a bull and a ram on each altar.

There is no magic curse against Jacob and no divination against Israel. It will now be said about Jacob and Israel,“ What great things God has done!”A people rise up like a lioness; they rouse themselves like a lion. They will not lie down until they devour the prey and drink the blood of the slain.

Present the meat and blood of your burnt offerings on the altar of the LORD your God. The blood of your other sacrifices is to be poured out beside the altar of the LORD your God, but you may eat the meat.
