but by precious blood like that of an unblemished and spotless lamb, namely Christ.He was foreknown before the foundation of the world but was manifested in these last times for your sake.Through him you now trust in God, who raised him from the dead and gave him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.

He must bring them to the priest and present first the one that is for a sin offering. The priest must pinch its head at the nape of its neck, but must not sever the head from the body.

He was given over because of our transgressions and was raised for the sake of our justification.

Finally, the one presenting the offering must wash its entrails and its legs in water and the priest must offer all of it up in smoke on the altar– it is a burnt offering, a gift of a soothing aroma to the LORD.“‘ If his offering is from the flock for a burnt offering– from the sheep or the goats– he must present a flawless male,
