The Lord’s anointed, our very life breath, was caught in their traps. We thought that under his shadow we would live among the nations.

Zedekiah, the Lord’ s anointed king, was our last hope. But he was caught in their traps. We thought he would keep us safe. We expected to continue living among the nations.

The breath of our nostrils, the Lord’s anointed, was captured in their pits, of whom we said,“ Under his shadow we shall live among the nations.”

Our king— the Lord’s anointed, the very life of our nation— was caught in their snares. We had thought that his shadow would protect us against any nation on earth!

耶和华上帝用地上的尘土造了人，把生命的气息吹进他的鼻孔里，他就成了有生命的人。

洗鲁雅的儿子亚比筛说：“示每曾经咒骂耶和华所膏立的君王，难道不应该处死他吗？”

大卫说：“你怎么敢下手杀耶和华所膏立的王？

你现在亲眼看见了，刚才在山洞里，耶和华把你交在我手中，有人叫我杀你，我却不肯，因为你是耶和华所膏立的王，我不会动手伤害你。

如今我站在这里，你们只管在耶和华和祂膏立的王面前为我作证，我夺过谁的牛？抢过谁的驴？欺骗过谁？压迫过谁？收过谁的贿赂而徇私枉法？如果有的话，我一定偿还。”

“基利波山啊，愿你没有雨露，你的田地不长献祭用的五谷，因为在那里勇士的盾牌污迹斑斑，扫罗的盾牌没有抹油。

撒母耳对他们说：“耶和华和祂所膏立的王今天为我作证，我没有拿过你们任何人的东西。”他们说：“是的，耶和华为证。”

他们却说：“请我王不要出战。因为如果我们败逃，敌方不会放在心上；即使我们一半人阵亡，敌方也不会放在心上。你一人比我们一万人更宝贵。你还是留在城中支援我们吧。”

我找到了我的仆人大卫，用我的圣油膏立他。我的手必扶持他，我的臂膀必加给他力量。

大卫却说：“不要杀他，谁杀害耶和华所膏立的王，都难逃罪责。

迦勒底的军队追赶西底迦，在耶利哥平原追上了他。他的军队都四散而逃。

你失职了。我凭永活的耶和华起誓，你们都该死。因为你们没有保护你们的主——耶和华所膏立的王。你看看王身边的矛和水瓶在哪里？”

耶西及其众子来了，撒母耳看见以利押，心里想：“这位肯定是耶和华要膏立的人。”

“我们父亲的命与这孩子的命紧密相连，倘若我没有把这孩子带回到你仆人——我父亲身边，

列国的人知道后，便设陷阱捉住它，用钩子拉到埃及。母狮盼着它回来，眼见指望落空，便又养育一头幼狮，使它成为雄壮的狮子。它出入狮群，学会了捕食和吃人。它夷平列国的堡垒，使他们的城邑沦为废墟，遍地都因它的咆哮而震惊。于是，列国便从四面围攻它，设网罗捕捉它。它落入他们的陷阱。

他对部下说：“我不该做这样的事，我主是耶和华所膏立的王，我绝不出手伤害他，因为他是耶和华所膏立的。”

他起誓降服，却弃约背誓，所以绝不能逃避后果。
