Who is there who speaks and it happens, unless the Lord has ordained it?

除非主命定，谁能说成就成呢？

若非主发命令，谁能说了就成呢？

若非主发命令，谁能说了就成呢？

若非主许可，谁的话可以兑现呢？

除非主命定，谁能说成，就成了呢？

除非主命定，誰能說成就成呢？

若非主發命令，誰能說了就成呢？

若非主許可，誰的話可以兌現呢？

除非主命定，誰能說成，就成了呢？

非主所命、誰能言之、而即成兮、

未得主命、誰能言而有應兮。

若非主命、誰能言有則有、

Who can speak and have it happen if the Lord has not decreed it?

Suppose people order something to happen. It won’t happen unless the Lord has planned it.

Who has spoken and it came to pass, unless the Lord has commanded it?

Who can command things to happen without the Lord’s permission?

Who is there who speaks and it happens, unless the Lord has ordained it?

Who is there who speaks and it comes to pass, Unless the Lord has commanded it?

Who is he who speaks and it comes to pass, When the Lord has not commanded it?

Who is he that saith, and it cometh to pass, when the Lord commandeth it not?

Who[ is] he[ that] saith, and it cometh to pass,[ when] the Lord commandeth[ it] not?

Whose command was ever fulfilled unless the Lord decreed it?

Who is he who says, and it comes to pass, when the Lord doesn’t command it?

For He spoke, and it came into being; He commanded, and it came into existence.The Lord frustrates the counsel of the nations; He thwarts the plans of the peoples.The counsel of the Lord stands forever, the plans of His heart from generation to generation.

I declare the end from the beginning, and from long ago what is not yet done, saying: My plan will take place, and I will do all My will.

A man’s heart plans his way, but the Lord determines his steps.

Many plans are in a man’s heart, but the Lord’s decree will prevail.

All the inhabitants of the earth are counted as nothing, and He does what He wants with the army of heaven and the inhabitants of the earth. There is no one who can hold back His hand or say to Him,“ What have You done?”

No wisdom, no understanding, and no counsel will prevail against the Lord.

For He tells Moses: I will show mercy to whom I will show mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.

We have also received an inheritance in Him, predestined according to the purpose of the One who works out everything in agreement with the decision of His will,

Come now, you who say,“ Today or tomorrow we will travel to such and such a city and spend a year there and do business and make a profit.”You don’t even know what tomorrow will bring— what your life will be! For you are like smoke that appears for a little while, then vanishes.Instead, you should say,“ If the Lord wills, we will live and do this or that.”
