因他并不甘心使人受苦，使人忧愁。

他并不存心要人受苦，令世人忧愁。

祂不愿使人忧伤、痛苦。

因为他心里本不是要人受困苦，或是要世人愁苦。

彼加苦難、使人憂戚、非其心兮、

主責民、非其心兮。

主使世人受苦懷憂、非其本心、非其本心或作非其心所欲

For he does not willingly bring affliction or grief to anyone.

He doesn’t want to bring pain or suffering to anyone.

for he does not afflict from his heart or grieve the children of men.

For he does not enjoy hurting people or causing them sorrow.

For he does not enjoy bringing affliction or suffering on mankind.

For He does not afflict willingly Or grieve the sons of mankind.

Say unto them,[ As] I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?

Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected[ us], and we gave[ them] reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?For they verily for a few days chastened[ us] after their own pleasure; but he for[ our] profit, that[ we] might be partakers of his holiness.

For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord GOD: wherefore turn[ yourselves], and live ye.

For the LORD shall rise up as[ in] mount Perazim, he shall be wroth as[ in] the valley of Gibeon, that he may do his work, his strange work; and bring to pass his act, his strange act.
