Yet I call this to mind, and therefore I have hope:

Israel, put your hope in the Lord. For there is faithful love with the Lord, and with Him is redemption in abundance.

For the vision is yet for the appointed time; it testifies about the end and will not lie. Though it delays, wait for it, since it will certainly come and not be late.

“ Will the Lord reject forever and never again show favor?Has His faithful love ceased forever? Is His promise at an end for all generations?Has God forgotten to be gracious? Has He in anger withheld His compassion?” SelahSo I say,“ I am grieved that the right hand of the Most High has changed.”I will remember the Lord’s works; yes, I will remember Your ancient wonders.

I say: The Lord is my portion, therefore I will put my hope in Him.The Lord is good to those who wait for Him, to the person who seeks Him.It is good to wait quietly for deliverance from the Lord.It is good for a man to bear the yoke while he is still young.Let him sit alone and be silent, for God has disciplined him.Let him put his mouth in the dust— perhaps there is still hope.

I long for Your salvation; I put my hope in Your word.
