「耶和華要帶你們和你們的王到一個你們和你們祖先都不知道的國家，你們要在那裡供奉木石神像。

巴比倫王在西底迦面前殺了他的眾子，又剜去他的雙眼，把他用銅鏈鎖著押往巴比倫。

我必撒開網羅捕捉他，把他帶到迦勒底人的巴比倫。他必看不見那地方，卻要死在那裡。

耶和華對我說：「那些先知奉我的名說假預言，我並沒有差派他們，沒有委任他們，也沒有對他們說話。他們對你們說的預言是假異象，是占卜，是憑空捏造。

耶和華膏立的王——我們的生命之氣落入他們的陷阱。我們原希望藉他的蔭庇立足於列國中。

西底迦執政第十一年四月九日，耶路撒冷淪陷。
