Like an enemy he has strung his bow; his right hand is ready. Like a foe he has slain all who were pleasing to the eye; he has poured out his wrath like fire on the tent of Daughter Zion.

Like an enemy the Lord got his bow ready to use. He had a sword in his right hand. Like an enemy he destroyed everything that used to be pleasing to him. His anger blazed out like fire. It burned up the homes in the city of Zion.

He has bent his bow like an enemy, with his right hand set like a foe; and he has killed all who were delightful in our eyes in the tent of the daughter of Zion; he has poured out his fury like fire.

He bends his bow against his people, as though he were their enemy. His strength is used against them to kill their finest youth. His fury is poured out like fire on beautiful Jerusalem.

He has strung his bow like an enemy; his right hand is positioned like an adversary. He has killed everyone who was the delight to the eye, pouring out his wrath like fire on the tent of Daughter Zion.

因此，主耶和华这样说：“看哪！我的怒气和忿怒，必倒在这地方，也必倒在人口、牲畜、田野的树木和地的出产上；怒火烧起，不能熄灭。”

因此，他把他猛烈的怒气和惨酷的战争，倾倒在他身上；这在他四周如火烧起来，他还不知道；把他烧着了，他也不放在心上。

我必在怒气、烈怒和忿怒中，用伸出来的手和强有力的膀臂，亲自攻击你们。

“人子啊！我从他们中间夺去他们的堡垒、他们所喜欢的荣耀、他们眼所喜爱的、心所崇尚的和他们的儿女的时候，

他拉开了他的弓，立我作箭靶子。他把他箭囊中的箭，射进我的肺腑。

因为全能者的箭射中我，我的灵喝尽了箭的毒液，神的惊吓排阵攻击我。

你所有的盟友都忘记了你，不再关心你；我击打了你，好像仇敌击打你，又好像残暴的人惩罚你一样；都因你的罪孽甚多，你的罪恶无数。

我本来安逸，他却把我压碎；掐着我的颈项，把我摔碎；又把我当作他的箭靶。他的弓箭手四面包围我，他剖开我的腰子，全不顾惜，把我的胆倾倒在地上。他把我破伤，在破口上又加破伤，如勇士一般向我直冲。

所以我因他们在那地上流人的血，又因他们以自己可憎的像玷污那地，就把我的烈怒倒在他们身上。

“这样我的怒气才可以发尽，我向他们所发的烈怒才可以平息，自己才得到舒畅。我向他们所发的烈怒完全发尽的时候，他们就知道我耶和华说过的话是出于嫉恨的心。

大卫家啊！耶和华这样说：你们每早晨应秉公审判，解救被抢夺的脱离欺压者的手；免得我的烈怒因你们（“你们”有古抄本作“他们”）的恶行发作，如火焚烧，无人能熄灭。

黄金怎么竟然失去光泽，纯金怎么竟然变色？圣殿的石头都被抛弃在各街头上。

犹大人和耶路撒冷的居民哪！你们要为了耶和华的缘故自行割礼，除去心里的污秽；不然，我的忿怒必因你们的恶行，如火一般发出来，无人能熄灭！”

主好像成了仇敌；他吞灭了以色列和她所有的宫殿，毁坏了她的坚固城。他在犹大居民的中间，增添了悲哀和哭号。

也许他们会向耶和华恳求，各人回转，离开自己的恶道，因为耶和华向这人民所说要发的怒气和烈怒是很大的。”

在远处的必因瘟疫死亡，在近处的必倒在刀剑之下，那余下被围困的也必因饥荒死亡。我必这样在他们身上完全发尽我的烈怒。

银子怎样在炉中熔化，你们也必照样在城中熔化；你们就知道我耶和华把我的烈怒倒在你身上。’”

我在忿怒中践踏万民，在烈怒中使他们沉醉，又把他们的血倒在地上。”

耶和华是嫉恶和施行报复的神；耶和华施行报复，并且满怀烈怒；耶和华向他的对头施行报复，向他的仇敌怀怒。

在他盛怒之下，谁能站得住呢？他的烈怒谁能受得了呢？他的忿怒像火一般喷出来，磐石在他面前都崩裂了。

他真是终日不停地反手攻击我。

耶路撒冷啊，醒来！醒来！站起来吧！你从耶和华的手中喝了他烈怒的杯，喝尽了那使人摇摇摆摆的爵。她所生的众子中，没有一个引导她的；她养大的众子中，没有一个扶持她的。荒凉与毁灭，饥荒与刀剑，这两样临到你，谁为你悲哀呢？谁能安慰你呢？（按照《马索拉文本》，“谁能安慰你呢？”作“我如何能安慰你呢？”；现参照《死海古卷》和其他古译本翻译）你的众子昏倒了，在各街头上躺卧，好像羚羊在网罗之中；他们饱尝了耶和华的烈怒，你的神的斥责。

可是，他们竟然悖逆，使他的圣灵忧伤；所以他转作他们的仇敌，亲自攻击他们。

“你们去，为我、也为以色列和犹大的余民，求问耶和华关于我们发现的这书上的话；因为我们的列祖没有谨守耶和华的话，也没有照着这书上所记的一切去行，所以耶和华才向我们大发烈怒。”

因为他们离弃了我，向别的神烧香，用他们手所做的惹我发怒，所以我的忿怒必倾倒在这地上，总不熄灭。
