Like an enemy he has strung his bow; his right hand is ready. Like a foe he has slain all who were pleasing to the eye; he has poured out his wrath like fire on the tent of Daughter Zion.

Like an enemy the Lord got his bow ready to use. He had a sword in his right hand. Like an enemy he destroyed everything that used to be pleasing to him. His anger blazed out like fire. It burned up the homes in the city of Zion.

He has bent his bow like an enemy, with his right hand set like a foe; and he has killed all who were delightful in our eyes in the tent of the daughter of Zion; he has poured out his fury like fire.

He bends his bow against his people, as though he were their enemy. His strength is used against them to kill their finest youth. His fury is poured out like fire on beautiful Jerusalem.

He has strung his bow like an enemy; his right hand is positioned like an adversary. He has killed everyone who was the delight to the eye, pouring out his wrath like fire on the tent of Daughter Zion.

主耶和华说，‘我要向这地方的人、牲畜、田野的树木和地里的出产发怒，发烈怒，如无法熄灭的火。’”

所以，祂把烈怒和战火倾倒在他们身上。他们被火包围，却不明白；被烈火焚身，却不在乎。

我要在烈怒中伸出大能的臂膀下手击打你们，

“人子啊，有一天我要夺去他们所喜悦、所夸耀、眼中所爱、心里所慕的堡垒，也要夺去他们的儿女。

祂弯弓搭箭，把我当箭靶，用箭袋中的箭射穿我的心脏。

因为全能者的箭射中我，箭毒侵蚀我的灵，祂使恐惧列队袭来。

你们的盟友都忘了你们，对你们漠不关心。我要像你们的仇敌一样击打你们，残酷地惩罚你们，因为你们罪大恶极，罪过无数。

我本来平顺，祂击垮了我，祂抓住我的颈项将我摔碎，把我当祂的箭靶。祂的弓箭手四面围住我，祂毫不留情地刺透我的肾脏，使我肝胆涂地。祂一次次地击伤我，像勇士一样扑向我。

他们杀人流血，祭拜偶像，玷污了那地方，所以我要把我的烈怒倾倒在他们身上，

这样，我对你们的怒气才会发完，我才会息怒。我把烈怒倾倒在你们身上的时候，你们就会知道我耶和华的话是出于痛恨不贞。

大卫家啊，耶和华说，“‘你们要天天秉公行义，从压迫者手中解救受剥削的人，免得你们的恶行激起我的怒火，如烈焰燃起，无人能灭。

黄金竟失去光泽，纯金竟变色，宝石竟被弃之街头。

你们要自行割礼，除掉心中的污垢，归向耶和华。不然，我必因你们的恶行而发烈怒，如火燃烧，无人能够扑灭。

主像敌人一样毁灭以色列，吞噬她的宫殿，夷平她的堡垒，使犹大人哀哭不止。

或许他们会改邪归正，恳求耶和华赦罪，因为耶和华说要向他们发烈怒。”

远处的必死于瘟疫，近处的必丧身刀下，其余的必死于饥荒。我必把烈怒倾倒在他们身上。

你们要在城中熔化，就像银在炼炉中熔化。你们就知道我耶和华已将我的烈怒倾倒在你们身上。’”

我在愤怒中践踏万民，让他们饱尝我的烈怒，把他们的血倒在地上。”

耶和华是痛恨不贞、施行报应的上帝。耶和华施行报应，充满烈怒。耶和华报应祂的仇敌，向他们发烈怒。

祂发怒，谁能站立？祂发烈怒，谁能承受？祂的愤怒如火焰喷涌而出，磐石在祂面前崩裂。

又屡屡攻击我，终日不断。

耶路撒冷啊，醒来，醒来，站起来吧！你从耶和华手中的杯里喝了祂的愤怒，喝干了那杯使人东倒西歪的酒。你生育的儿子没有一个来引导你，你抚养成人的众子没有一个来搀扶你。荒凉、毁灭、饥荒、战祸已临到你身上，谁会为你哀哭呢？谁能安慰你呢？你的儿子们昏倒在街头，好像羚羊掉进网罗，你的上帝耶和华把祂的愤怒和责备重重地降在他们身上。

他们却叛逆，使祂的圣灵忧伤。于是，祂与他们为敌，亲自攻击他们。

“你们去为我、为以色列和犹大的余民求问耶和华有关这书卷上的话。耶和华的烈怒已经临到我们身上，因为我们的祖先没有遵守耶和华的话，没有遵行这书卷上的话。”

因为他们背弃我，给别的神明烧香，制造偶像惹我发怒，所以我的怒火要在这地方燃烧，绝不止息。’
