耶和华使迦勒底人的王起兵攻打他们，在他们的圣殿里用刀击杀他们的壮丁，毫不怜悯少男少女、老人和年高者。耶和华把他们全部交在他的手中。

“你满怀愤怒地追赶我们，毫不留情地杀戮我们。

因此，我不再怜悯这地方的居民，我要使他们落在邻人及其君王手中，任这地方被摧毁，必不从敌人手中拯救他们。这是耶和华说的。”

耶和华实现了祂的计划，成就了祂很久以前的应许。祂毫不留情地毁灭了你，使你的仇敌幸灾乐祸，耀武扬威。

主毫不留情地毁灭雅各一切的住处，祂在烈怒中夷平犹大的堡垒，让以色列及其首领蒙羞。

因此，我必愤怒地对待他们，我必不顾惜他们，也不怜悯他们，即使他们大声向我呼求，我也不听。”

然后，我要把犹大王西底迦及其臣仆以及城中逃过瘟疫、战争和饥荒的人都交给巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒等仇敌，使他们落在想杀灭他们的人手中。巴比伦王必残酷无情地杀戮他们。这是耶和华说的。’

祂使自己的子民被刀剑杀戮，向自己的产业大发怒气。青年被烈火吞噬，少女无法婚嫁。

你现在要去攻打他们，彻底消灭他们和他们拥有的一切，把男女老幼、牛羊骆驼和驴全部杀掉，一个不留。’”

他们面目狰狞，不尊重年老的，也不怜悯年少的。

打碎战车和车夫，打碎男人和妇女，打碎老人和小孩，打碎少男和少女，

我听见祂对其余的人说：“你们要跟随他走遍全城，毫不留情地杀戮，将男女老幼全部杀尽，但你们不能伤害额上有记号的。你们要从圣所开始。”于是他们首先杀了殿前的众长老。

谕旨由信差送到王的各省，限令在一天之内，即十二月，也就是亚达月十三日，把犹太人的男女老少全部铲除、杀光、灭尽，并夺取他们的财物。

因为死亡从窗户爬进我们的城堡，吞灭街上的孩童和广场上的青年。

主耶和华说：“因为你们用一切可憎的偶像和恶行玷污我的圣所，我凭我的永恒起誓，我必毫不留情地铲除你们。

因此，我必不顾惜他们，也不怜悯他们，我必照他们的所作所为报应他们。”

“但耶和华是公义的，因为我违背了祂的命令。万国啊，请听我的话，看看我的痛苦！我的年轻男女都被掳去。

用刀杀了城里所有的男女老少、牛羊和驴。

因此，愿他们丧身刀下，儿女饿死，妻子丧夫亡子，年长的被杀，年少的死于战场！

耶和华啊，我怒你所怒，无法容忍。耶和华说：“你把我的怒气发向街头的孩童和聚集成群的青年。丈夫、妻子和老人都要一同被掳。

我必不顾惜你，也不怜悯你，我必按你的恶行报应你。这样，你就知道惩罚你的是我耶和华。

树枝枯干断落，妇女拿去作柴烧。因为以色列人愚昧无知，所以他们的创造主不怜悯他们，也不向他们施恩。

“我在你们中间降下瘟疫，如从前降在埃及一样。我杀戮你们的青年，掳掠你们的战马，使你们军营中的死尸臭味扑鼻。尽管如此，你们仍不归向我。这是耶和华说的。

“主藐视我所有的勇士，召集军队攻击我，打垮我的青年。主践踏犹大人，如同在榨酒池踩踏。
