凡過之者、向爾鼓掌兮、嗤笑耶路撒冷女、而搖首兮、咸曰人所稱為完美、全地所喜悅者、即此邑乎、

凡過耶路撒冷者、鼓掌搖首、作怨憤之聲、曰、天下素稱華國樂土者、非此邑乎。

凡過路者、皆因爾鼓掌、向耶路撒冷邑邑原文作女嗤笑搖頭、曰、素為極美、天下所悅之邑、即此邑乎、

All who pass your way clap their hands at you; they scoff and shake their heads at Daughter Jerusalem:“ Is this the city that was called the perfection of beauty, the joy of the whole earth?”

All those who pass by clap their hands and make fun of you. They laugh at you and shake their heads at the city of Jerusalem. They say,“ Could that be the city that was called perfect and beautiful? Is that the city that brought joy to everyone on earth?”

All who pass along the way clap their hands at you; they hiss and wag their heads at the daughter of Jerusalem:“ Is this the city that was called the perfection of beauty, the joy of all the earth?”

All who pass by jeer at you. They scoff and insult beautiful Jerusalem, saying,“ Is this the city called‘ Most Beautiful in All the World’ and‘ Joy of All the Earth’?”

All who pass by scornfully clap their hands at you. They hiss and shake their heads at Daughter Jerusalem: Is this the city that was called the perfection of beauty, the joy of the whole earth?

All who pass along the way Clap their hands in ridicule at you; They hiss and shake their heads At the daughter of Jerusalem:“ Is this the city of which they said,‘ Perfect in beauty, A joy to all the earth’?”

錫安山－大君王的城，在北面居高華美，為全地所喜悅。

以致他們的地令人驚駭，常常嗤笑；凡經過這地的必驚駭搖頭。

從全美的錫安中，神已經發光了。

主耶和華如此說：「因你拍手頓足，以滿心的恨惡向以色列地歡喜，

我必使這城令人驚駭嗤笑；凡經過的人，必因這城所遭的災驚駭嗤笑。

所以耶和華論他這樣說：錫安的處女藐視你，嗤笑你；耶路撒冷的女子向你搖頭。

這是素來歡樂安然居住的城，心裏說：惟有我，除我以外再沒有別的；現在何竟荒涼成為野獸躺臥之處！凡經過的人都必搖手嗤笑她。

凡看見我的都嗤笑我；他們撇嘴搖頭，說：

你的損傷無法醫治；你的傷痕極其重大。凡聽你信息的必都因此向你拍掌。你所行的惡誰沒有時常遭遇呢？

因為你守暗利的惡規，行亞哈家一切所行的，順從他們的計謀；因此，我必使你荒涼，使你的居民令人嗤笑，你們也必擔當我民的羞辱。

耶和華論他這樣說：錫安的處女藐視你，嗤笑你；耶路撒冷的女子向你搖頭。

我就必將以色列人從我賜給他們的地上剪除，並且我為己名所分別為聖的殿也必捨棄不顧，使以色列人在萬民中作笑談，被譏誚。這殿雖然甚高，將來經過的人必驚訝、嗤笑，說：『耶和華為何向這地和這殿如此行呢？』人必回答說：『是因此地的人離棄領他們列祖出埃及地之耶和華－他們的神，去親近別神，事奉敬拜他，所以耶和華使這一切災禍臨到他們。』」

你的仇敵都向你大大張口；他們嗤笑，又切齒說：我們吞滅她。這真是我們所盼望的日子臨到了！我們親眼看見了！

他強取自己的帳幕，好像是園中的窩棚，毀壞他的聚會之處。耶和華使聖節和安息日在錫安都被忘記，又在怒氣的憤恨中藐視君王和祭司。

你們的後代，就是以後興起來的子孫，和遠方來的外人，看見這地的災殃，並耶和華所降與這地的疾病，又看見遍地有硫磺，有鹽鹵，有火跡，沒有耕種，沒有出產，連草都不生長－好像耶和華在忿怒中所傾覆的所多瑪、蛾摩拉、押瑪、洗扁一樣－所看見的人，連萬國人，都必問說：『耶和華為何向此地這樣行呢？這樣大發烈怒是甚麼意思呢？』人必回答說：『是因這地的人離棄了耶和華－他們列祖的神，領他們出埃及地的時候與他們所立的約，去事奉敬拜素不認識的別神，是耶和華所未曾給他們安排的。所以耶和華的怒氣向這地發作，將這書上所寫的一切咒詛都降在這地上。耶和華在怒氣、忿怒、大惱恨中將他們從本地拔出來，扔在別的地上，像今日一樣。』

我必召北方的眾族和我僕人巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒來攻擊這地和這地的居民，並四圍一切的國民。我要將他們盡行滅絕，以致他們令人驚駭、嗤笑，並且永久荒涼。這是耶和華說的。

這殿雖然甚高，將來經過的人必驚訝說：『耶和華為何向這地和這殿如此行呢？』

巴比倫必成為亂堆，為野狗的住處，令人驚駭、嗤笑，並且無人居住。

耶路撒冷大大犯罪，所以成為不潔之物；素來尊敬她的，見她赤露就都藐視她；她自己也歎息退後。

你使我們在列邦中作了笑談，使眾民向我們搖頭。我的凌辱終日在我面前，我臉上的羞愧將我遮蔽，

神要向他射箭，並不留情；他恨不得逃脫神的手。人要向他拍掌，並要發叱聲，使他離開本處。

從那裏經過的人譏誚他，搖着頭，說：

我們聖潔華美的殿－就是我們列祖讚美你的所在被火焚燒；我們所羨慕的美地盡都荒廢。

從那裏經過的人辱罵他，搖着頭說：「咳！你這拆毀聖殿、三日又建造起來的，

我必用刀劍、饑荒、瘟疫追趕他們，使他們在天下萬國拋來拋去，在我所趕他們到的各國中，令人咒詛、驚駭、嗤笑、羞辱。

就是耶路撒冷和猶大的城邑，並耶路撒冷的君王與首領，使這城邑荒涼，令人驚駭、嗤笑、咒詛，正如今日一樣。
