耶和華震怒、降災我躬、爾曹過此、見予哀慘、無所比儗、乃不為意兮。

故主耶和華曰、我必罰推羅、使列邦攻之、若海水泛濫、傾推羅城垣、毀其戍樓、散其塵埃、使為光潔之磐。

今巴比倫傾頽崩毀、為之舉哀、求乳香以醫厥疾。我儕欲醫巴比倫而不得、其禍滔天、上沖霄漢、我今去之、各歸故土。

當以我言告之曰、郇邑未字之女、藐視爾、戲笑爾、即耶路撒冷之女、其頷首也、亦適以欺爾。
