所有过路的人哪，愿这事不要发生在你们身上。你们要留意观看，有像这样临到我的痛苦没有？耶和华在他发烈怒的日子使我受苦。

耶和华如此说：“你的损伤无法医治，你的伤痕极其重大。无人为你的伤痛辩护，也没有可医治你的良药。你所亲爱的都忘记你，不来探望你。我因你罪孽甚大，罪恶众多，曾藉仇敌加的伤害伤害你，藉残忍者惩治你。你为何因所受的损伤哀号呢？你的痛苦无法医治。我因你罪孽甚大，罪恶众多，曾将这些加在你身上。

你要向他们说这些话：愿我眼泪汪汪，昼夜不息，因为少女—我百姓受了重大的打击，伤口极其严重。

在基列岂没有乳香呢？在那里岂没有医生呢？我百姓为何得不着医治呢？

大卫来到巴力‧毗拉心，在那里击败了非利士人。他说：“耶和华在我面前冲破敌人，如水冲破一样。”因此他称那地方为巴力‧毗拉心。

你使地震动，崩裂；求你将裂口补好，因为地在摇动。

上帝使大灾祸临到我们，实现了警戒我们和审判我们官长的话；原来耶路撒冷所遭遇的灾祸是普天之下未曾有过的。

所以，主耶和华如此说：推罗，看哪，我与你为敌，使许多国家涌上攻击你，如同海洋使波浪涌上一样。他们要破坏推罗的城墙，拆毁它的城楼。我也要刮净它的尘土，使它成为光滑的磐石。

巴比伦忽然倾覆毁坏；要为它哀号，拿乳香来止它的疼痛，或者可以治好。我们想医治巴比伦，它却未获痊愈。离开它吧！让我们各人归回本国，因为它受的审判通于上天，达到穹苍。

所以耶和华论他这样说：‘少女锡安藐视你，嘲笑你；耶路撒冷向你摇头。
