所有過路的人啊！你們毫不在意嗎？你們要細察要觀看，有沒有痛苦像我所受的痛苦，就是耶和華在他發烈怒的日子使我所受的痛苦。

“耶和華這樣說：‘你的損傷無法痊愈，你的創傷不能醫治。沒有人為你申訴，你的傷處無藥可救，你不得醫治。你所有的盟友都忘記了你，不再關心你；我擊打了你，好像仇敵擊打你，又好像殘暴的人懲罰你一樣；都因你的罪孽甚多，你的罪惡無數。你為甚麼因你的損傷哀叫呢？你的病痛無法痊愈。我這樣對你，是因你的罪孽甚多，你的罪惡無數。

“你要對他們說這話：‘願我的眼淚直流，日夜不停；因為我的同胞（“同胞”原文作“人民的處女”）遭受極大的毀滅，受到很嚴重的打擊。

難道基列沒有乳香嗎？難道那裡沒有醫生嗎？我的同胞（“同胞”原文作“人民的女子”）為甚麼總不痊愈呢？

於是大衛來到巴力‧毗拉心，在那裡擊敗了非利士人，說：“耶和華在我面前沖破我的敵人，好像洪水沖破堤岸一般。”因此他給那地方起名叫巴力‧毗拉心。

你使地震動、崩裂，求你修補裂縫，因為地正在搖動。

他實現了他的預言，按著他向我們和那些治理我們的官長所說過的話，使大災禍臨到我們身上；耶路撒冷所遇的災禍是在普天之下從未發生過的。

所以主耶和華這樣說：‘推羅啊！我要與你為敵；我必叫多國上來攻擊你，好像海使波浪湧上來一樣。他們必毀壞推羅的城牆，拆毀它的城樓；我必刮淨它的塵土，使它成為光滑的磐石。

巴比倫必突然傾覆毀滅，你們要為它哀號！拿乳香來消除它的痛楚，也許可以治好它。我們本想醫治巴比倫，但它沒有治好。我們離開它，各歸本地去吧！因為它的刑罰極大，上達於天，直到雲霄。

耶和華就有以下的話攻擊他，說：錫安的處女藐視你，嗤笑你；耶路撒冷的女子在你背後搖頭。
