所有过路的人啊！你们毫不在意吗？你们要细察要观看，有没有痛苦像我所受的痛苦，就是耶和华在他发烈怒的日子使我所受的痛苦。

“耶和华这样说：‘你的损伤无法痊愈，你的创伤不能医治。没有人为你申诉，你的伤处无药可救，你不得医治。你所有的盟友都忘记了你，不再关心你；我击打了你，好像仇敌击打你，又好像残暴的人惩罚你一样；都因你的罪孽甚多，你的罪恶无数。你为什么因你的损伤哀叫呢？你的病痛无法痊愈。我这样对你，是因你的罪孽甚多，你的罪恶无数。

“你要对他们说这话：‘愿我的眼泪直流，日夜不停；因为我的同胞（“同胞”原文作“人民的处女”）遭受极大的毁灭，受到很严重的打击。

难道基列没有乳香吗？难道那里没有医生吗？我的同胞（“同胞”原文作“人民的女子”）为什么总不痊愈呢？

于是大卫来到巴力‧毗拉心，在那里击败了非利士人，说：“耶和华在我面前冲破我的敌人，好像洪水冲破堤岸一般。”因此他给那地方起名叫巴力‧毗拉心。

你使地震动、崩裂，求你修补裂缝，因为地正在摇动。

他实现了他的预言，按着他向我们和那些治理我们的官长所说过的话，使大灾祸临到我们身上；耶路撒冷所遇的灾祸是在普天之下从未发生过的。

所以主耶和华这样说：‘推罗啊！我要与你为敌；我必叫多国上来攻击你，好像海使波浪涌上来一样。他们必毁坏推罗的城墙，拆毁它的城楼；我必刮净它的尘土，使它成为光滑的磐石。

巴比伦必突然倾覆毁灭，你们要为它哀号！拿乳香来消除它的痛楚，也许可以治好它。我们本想医治巴比伦，但它没有治好。我们离开它，各归本地去吧！因为它的刑罚极大，上达于天，直到云霄。

耶和华就有以下的话攻击他，说：锡安的处女藐视你，嗤笑你；耶路撒冷的女子在你背后摇头。
