「路人啊，你們都無動於衷嗎？你們看看，耶和華向我發烈怒，降禍於我，還有誰比我更痛苦呢？

耶和華說：「你們的創傷無法醫治，你們的傷口無法痊癒。沒有人幫助你們，你們的傷處無藥可治，你們無法痊癒。你們的盟友都忘了你們，對你們漠不關心。我要像你們的仇敵一樣擊打你們，殘酷地懲罰你們，因為你們罪大惡極，罪過無數。你們為何因自己無法醫治的創傷而哭泣呢？因為你們罪大惡極，罪過無數，我才這樣懲罰你們。

「耶利米，你要對他們說，『讓我晝夜淚眼汪汪吧，因為我的同胞遭受重創，遍體鱗傷。

難道基列沒有藥物、沒有醫生嗎？為什麼我同胞的創傷至今未癒？

大衛前往巴力·毗拉心，在那裡打敗了敵人。他說：「耶和華像洪水決堤一樣為我沖垮了仇敵。」於是他稱那地方為巴力·毗拉心。

你震動大地，將它撕裂。求你修補裂口，因為它要塌陷了。

你把大災難降在我們身上，應驗了你警告我們和我們官長的話。耶路撒冷遭遇的災禍普天之下從未有過。

所以主耶和華說，『泰爾啊，我要跟你作對，我要激起多國來攻擊你，就像大海掀起波浪一樣。他們要破壞你的牆垣，拆毀你的城樓。我要鏟淨你的瓦礫，使你成為光禿禿的磐石，

轉瞬之間，巴比倫必毀滅。你們要為她哀悼，拿藥為她止痛，或許可以治好她。寄居在巴比倫的人說，『我們試過了，卻沒有治好。我們離開她，各自返回故鄉吧！因為她罪惡滔天，必受審判。

以下是耶和華對他的判語，錫安的居民藐視你，嘲笑你；耶路撒冷的居民朝你逃竄的背影搖頭。
