主奚忿怒、以雲蔽郇女兮、以色列之榮華、自天擲地兮、發怒之日、不念其足几兮、

主怒郇邑、愁雲慘淡、以色列雖榮光焜耀、若躋穹蒼、必下墮於地兮、雖為駐蹕之所、亦所弗惜兮。

How the Lord has covered Daughter Zion with the cloud of his anger! He has hurled down the splendor of Israel from heaven to earth; he has not remembered his footstool in the day of his anger.

See how the Lord covered the city of Zion with the cloud of his anger! He threw Israel’s glory down from heaven to earth. When he was angry, he turned his back on his own city.

How the Lord in his anger has set the daughter of Zion under a cloud! He has cast down from heaven to earth the splendor of Israel; he has not remembered his footstool in the day of his anger.

The Lord in his anger has cast a dark shadow over beautiful Jerusalem. The fairest of Israel’s cities lies in the dust, thrown down from the heights of heaven. In his day of great anger, the Lord has shown no mercy even to his Temple.

我們要進他的居所，在他腳凳前下拜。

大衛王就站起來，說：「我的弟兄，我的百姓啊，你們當聽我言，我心裏本想建造殿宇，安放耶和華的約櫃，作為我神的腳凳；我已經預備建造的材料。

我們聖潔華美的殿－就是我們列祖讚美你的所在被火焚燒；我們所羨慕的美地盡都荒廢。

你是那受膏遮掩約櫃的基路伯；我將你安置在神的聖山上；你在發光如火的寶石中間往來。你從受造之日所行的都完全，後來在你中間又察出不義。因你貿易很多，就被強暴的事充滿，以致犯罪，所以我因你褻瀆聖地，就從神的山驅逐你。遮掩約櫃的基路伯啊，我已將你從發光如火的寶石中除滅。

明亮之星，早晨之子啊，你何竟從天墜落？你這攻敗列國的何竟被砍倒在地上？你心裏曾說：我要升到天上；我要高舉我的寶座在神眾星以上；我要坐在聚會的山上，在北方的極處。我要升到高雲之上；我要與至上者同等。然而，你必墜落陰間，到坑中極深之處。

我在答比匿折斷埃及的諸軛，使她因勢力而有的驕傲在其中止息。那時，日光必退去；至於這城，必有密雲遮蔽，其中的女子必被擄掠。

迦百農啊，你已經升到天上，將來必墜落陰間；因為在你那裏所行的異能，若行在所多瑪，它還可以存到今日。

你們當尊崇耶和華－我們的神，在他腳凳前下拜。他本為聖！

你自被怒氣遮蔽，追趕我們；你施行殺戮，並不顧惜。你以黑雲遮蔽自己，以致禱告不得透入。

那日是黑暗、幽冥、密雲、烏黑的日子，好像晨光鋪滿山嶺。有一隊蝗蟲又大又強；從來沒有這樣的，以後直到萬代也必沒有。

歌中說：以色列啊，你尊榮者在山上被殺！大英雄何竟死亡！

在天上就有了爭戰。米迦勒同他的使者與龍爭戰，龍也同牠的使者去爭戰，並沒有得勝，天上再沒有牠們的地方。大龍就是那古蛇，名叫魔鬼，又叫撒但，是迷惑普天下的。牠被摔在地上，牠的使者也一同被摔下去。

黃金何其失光！純金何其變色！聖所的石頭倒在各市口上。

論到耶和華妝飾華美的殿，他建立得威嚴，他們卻在其中製造可憎可厭的偶像，所以這殿我使他們看如污穢之物。我必將這殿交付外邦人為掠物，交付地上的惡人為擄物；他們也必褻瀆這殿。我必轉臉不顧以色列人，他們褻瀆我隱密之所，強盜也必進去褻瀆。

先前滿有人民的城，現在何竟獨坐！先前在列國中為大的，現在竟如寡婦；先前在諸省中為王后的，現在成為進貢的。

『你告訴以色列家，主耶和華如此說：我必使我的聖所，就是你們勢力所誇耀、眼裏所喜愛、心中所愛惜的被褻瀆，並且你們所遺留的兒女必倒在刀下。

迦百農啊，你已經升到天上，將來必推下陰間。」

我將你撲滅的時候，要把天遮蔽，使眾星昏暗，以密雲遮掩太陽，月亮也不放光。我必使天上的亮光都在你以上變為昏暗，使你的地上黑暗。這是主耶和華說的。

耶穌對他們說：「我曾看見撒但從天上墜落，像閃電一樣。

她給孩子起名叫以迦博，說：「榮耀離開以色列了！」這是因神的約櫃被擄去，又因她公公和丈夫都死了。
