“我们的神啊，求你垂听，我们被藐视，求你使他们的毁谤归到他们头上，使他们在被掳之地成为掠物。不要遮蔽他们的罪孽，也不要从你面前涂抹他们的罪恶，因为他们在这些建造的人面前惹你发怒。”

耶和华啊！至于你，你知道他们要杀我的一切计谋。求你不要赦免他们的罪孽，不要从你面前涂抹他们的罪！使他们在你面前绊倒；求你在发怒的时候，对付他们。

为了这事，我们心里愁烦；为了这事，我们的眼睛昏花；

他们大声喊叫，说：“圣洁真实的主啊！你不审判住在地上的人，给我们伸流血的冤，要到几时呢？”

愿你把你的烈怒倾倒在不认识你的列国，和不求告你名的万族身上；因为他们吞吃了雅各，他们吞吃了他，把他消灭，使他的住处荒凉。

锡安的居民要说：“愿巴比伦以强暴待我们（“我们”或译：“我和我骨肉之亲”）的罪归到巴比伦身上。”耶路撒冷要说：“愿流我血的罪归到迦勒底的居民身上。”

他从高天降火，使火进入我的骨头里（按照《马索拉文本》，“他从高天降火，使火进入我的骨头里”作“他从高天降火进入我的骨头里，他管理火”；现参照《七十士译本》翻译）。他设置网罗绊我的脚，使我退去。他使我孤单凄凉，终日愁烦。

因此，各人的手都必发软，各人也必心惊胆战。

耶和华啊！求你记念以东人在耶路撒冷遭难的日子所行的，他们说：“拆毁它，拆毁它，直拆到根基。”将要被毁灭的（“将要被毁灭的”有古译本作“毁灭者”）巴比伦城（“城”原文作“女子”）啊！照着你待我们的行为报复你的，那人有福了。抓住你的婴孩摔在磐石上的，那人有福了。

因此，我恳求你们，不要因着我为你们所受的苦难而沮丧，这原是你们的光荣。
