『永恆主啊，看我有多大患難哦！我的心腸沸騰着；我心裏翻轉着；因為我大大悖逆：外頭有刀劍使人喪子，家裏則如死亡。

耶和華歟、請爾垂顧、我遭苦難、中心慘怛兮、叛逆維甚、衷懷反仄兮、在外喪於鋒刃、居家有若死亡兮、

我蹈重愆、外遭殺戮、內則死亡兮、予也懷憂特甚、中心慘怛、望耶和華眷顧兮。

我遭患難、求主眷顧、我腸焦枯、我腸焦枯或作中心慘慘我心顛倒、顛倒或作翻動皆因悖逆主、在外外或作街有鋒刃殺戮、在內內或作家亦若死亡、亦若死亡或作有疫癘

“ See, Lord, how distressed I am! I am in torment within, and in my heart I am disturbed, for I have been most rebellious. Outside, the sword bereaves; inside, there is only death.

“ Lord, see how upset I am! I am suffering deep down inside. My heart is troubled. Again and again I have refused to obey you. Outside the city, people are being killed by swords. Inside, there is nothing but death.

My eyes are spent with weeping; my stomach churns; my bile is poured out to the ground because of the destruction of the daughter of my people, because infants and babies faint in the streets of the city.

Outdoors the sword shall bereave, and indoors terror, for young man and woman alike, the nursing child with the man of gray hairs.

The sword is without; pestilence and famine are within. He who is in the field dies by the sword, and him who is in the city famine and pestilence devour.

Therefore my inner parts moan like a lyre for Moab, and my inmost self for Kir-hareseth.

My inward parts are in turmoil and never still; days of affliction come to meet me.

My anguish, my anguish! I writhe in pain! Oh the walls of my heart! My heart is beating wildly; I cannot keep silent, for I hear the sound of the trumpet, the alarm of war.

Happier were the victims of the sword than the victims of hunger, who wasted away, pierced by lack of the fruits of the field.The hands of compassionate women have boiled their own children; they became their food during the destruction of the daughter of my people.

I hear, and my body trembles; my lips quiver at the sound; rottenness enters into my bones; my legs tremble beneath me. Yet I will quietly wait for the day of trouble to come upon people who invade us.

He sings before men and says:‘ I sinned and perverted what was right, and it was not repaid to me.

you say,‘ I am innocent; surely his anger has turned from me.’ Behold, I will bring you to judgment for saying,‘ I have not sinned.’

For death has come up into our windows; it has entered our palaces, cutting off the children from the streets and the young men from the squares.Speak:“ Thus declares the Lord,‘ The dead bodies of men shall fall like dung upon the open field, like sheaves after the reaper, and none shall gather them.’”

Only acknowledge your guilt, that you rebelled against the Lord your God and scattered your favors among foreigners under every green tree, and that you have not obeyed my voice, declares the Lord.

“ But if they confess their iniquity and the iniquity of their fathers in their treachery that they committed against me, and also in walking contrary to me,so that I walked contrary to them and brought them into the land of their enemies— if then their uncircumcised heart is humbled and they make amends for their iniquity,then I will remember my covenant with Jacob, and I will remember my covenant with Isaac and my covenant with Abraham, and I will remember the land.

Whoever conceals his transgressions will not prosper, but he who confesses and forsakes them will obtain mercy.

Is Ephraim my dear son? Is he my darling child? For as often as I speak against him, I do remember him still. Therefore my heart yearns for him; I will surely have mercy on him, declares the Lord.

All her people groan as they search for bread; they trade their treasures for food to revive their strength.“ Look, O Lord, and see, for I am despised.”

Therefore my heart moans for Moab like a flute, and my heart moans like a flute for the men of Kir-hareseth. Therefore the riches they gained have perished.
