The enemy laid hands on all her treasures; she saw pagan nations enter her sanctuary— those you had forbidden to enter your assembly.

Jerusalem’s enemies took away all her treasures. Her people saw outsiders enter her temple. The Lord had commanded them not to do that.

The enemy has stretched out his hands over all her precious things; for she has seen the nations enter her sanctuary, those whom you forbade to enter your congregation.

The enemy has plundered her completely, taking every precious thing she owns. She has seen foreigners violate her sacred Temple, the place the Lord had forbidden them to enter.

The adversary has seized all her precious belongings. She has even seen the nations enter her sanctuary— those you had forbidden to enter your assembly.

我們聽見辱罵就蒙羞，滿面慚愧，因為外邦人進入耶和華殿的聖所。

「亞捫人或是摩押人不可入耶和華的會；他們的子孫，雖過十代，也永不可入耶和華的會。

當日，人念摩西的律法書給百姓聽，遇見書上寫着說，亞捫人和摩押人永不可入神的會；

耶路撒冷在困苦窘迫之時，就追想古時一切的樂境。她百姓落在敵人手中，無人救濟；敵人看見，就因她的荒涼嗤笑。

你的聖邑變為曠野。錫安變為曠野；耶路撒冷成為荒場。我們聖潔華美的殿－就是我們列祖讚美你的所在被火焚燒；我們所羨慕的美地盡都荒廢。

你的敵人在你會中吼叫；他們豎了自己的旗為記號。他們好像人揚起斧子，砍伐林中的樹。聖所中一切雕刻的，他們現在用斧子錘子打壞了。他們用火焚燒你的聖所，褻瀆你名的居所，拆毀到地。他們心裏說：我們要盡行毀滅；他們就在遍地把神的會所都燒毀了。

你們把我的食物，就是脂油和血獻上的時候，將身心未受割禮的外邦人領進我的聖地，玷污了我的殿；又背了我的約，在你們一切可憎的事上，加上這一層。

「你們看見那行毀壞可憎的，站在不當站的地方（讀這經的人須要會意）。那時，在猶太的，應當逃到山上；

耶和華殿的銅柱並殿內的盆座和銅海，迦勒底人都打碎了，將那銅運到巴比倫去了，又帶去鍋、鏟子、蠟剪、盤子、調羹，並所用的一切銅器、杯、火鼎、碗、盆、燈臺、調羹、爵，無論金的銀的，護衛長也都帶去了。所羅門為耶和華殿所造的兩根銅柱、一個銅海，並座下的十二隻銅牛，這一切的銅多得無法可稱。

用火焚燒耶和華的殿和王宮，又焚燒耶路撒冷的房屋，就是各大戶家的房屋。

神啊，外邦人進入你的產業，污穢你的聖殿，使耶路撒冷變成荒堆，把你僕人的屍首交與天空的飛鳥為食，把你聖民的肉交與地上的野獸，在耶路撒冷周圍流他們的血如水，無人葬埋。我們成為鄰國的羞辱，成為我們四圍人的嗤笑譏刺。耶和華啊，這到幾時呢？你要動怒到永遠嗎？你的憤恨要如火焚燒嗎？願你將你的忿怒倒在那不認識你的外邦和那不求告你名的國度。因為他們吞了雅各，把他的住處變為荒場。

所以，我的百姓因無知就被擄去；他們的尊貴人甚是飢餓，羣眾極其乾渴。故此，陰間擴張其欲，開了無限量的口；他們的榮耀、羣眾、繁華，並快樂的人都落在其中。

你的聖民不過暫時得這產業；我們的敵人已經踐踏你的聖所。

並且我要將這城中的一切貨財和勞碌得來的，並一切珍寶，以及猶大君王所有的寶物，都交在他們仇敵的手中；仇敵要當作掠物帶到巴比倫去。

我必轉臉不顧以色列人，他們褻瀆我隱密之所，強盜也必進去褻瀆。

「我必因你在四境之內所犯的一切罪，把你的貨物財寶當掠物，白白地交給仇敵。

他對他們說：「要污穢這殿，使院中充滿被殺的人。你們出去吧！」他們就出去，在城中擊殺。
