至上天使米迦勒、與魔鬼爭摩西屍、猶不敢詬誶定其罪、惟曰、主責爾矣、

天使長米迦勒為摩西之屍與魔爭、猶不敢用謗言以罪之、惟曰、主責爾、

昔總領天神彌額爾與魔鬼奪摩西屍體也、猶且不敢擅作威福、加以無謂之凌辱、僅曰：『願主責爾』而已。

But even the archangel Michael, when he was disputing with the devil about the body of Moses, did not himself dare to condemn him for slander but said,“ The Lord rebuke you!”

But even Michael, the leader of the angels, didn’t dare to say these things. He didn’t even say these things when he argued with the devil about the body of Moses. Michael didn’t dare to judge the devil. He didn’t say the devil was guilty of saying evil things. Instead, Michael said,“ May the Lord judge you!”

But when the archangel Michael, contending with the devil, was disputing about the body of Moses, he did not presume to pronounce a blasphemous judgment, but said,“ The Lord rebuke you.”

But even Michael, one of the mightiest of the angels, did not dare accuse the devil of blasphemy, but simply said,“ The Lord rebuke you!”( This took place when Michael was arguing with the devil about Moses’ body.)

Yet when Michael the archangel was disputing with the devil in an argument about Moses’s body, he did not dare utter a slanderous condemnation against him but said,“ The Lord rebuke you!”

But Michael the archangel, when he disputed with the devil and argued about the body of Moses, did not dare pronounce against him an abusive judgment, but said,“ The Lord rebuke you!”

Yet Michael the archangel, in contending with the devil, when he disputed about the body of Moses, dared not bring against him a reviling accusation, but said,“ The Lord rebuke you!”

But Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing judgment, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.

Yet Michael the archangel, when he was disputing with the Devil in a debate about Moses’ body, did not dare bring an abusive condemnation against him but said,“ The Lord rebuke you!”

Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.

But even when Michael the archangel was arguing with the devil and debating with him concerning Moses’ body, he did not dare to bring a slanderous judgment, but said,“ May the Lord rebuke you!”

But Michael, the archangel, when contending with the devil and arguing about the body of Moses, dared not bring against him an abusive condemnation, but said,“ May the Lord rebuke you!”

天上發生了爭戰。米迦勒同他的使者與龍作戰，龍同牠的使者也起來應戰，

耶和華向撒但說：「撒但哪，耶和華責備你！揀選耶路撒冷的耶和華責備你！這不是從火中抽出來的一根柴嗎？」

耶和華將他葬在摩押地，伯‧毗珥對面的谷中，只是到今日，沒有人知道他的墳墓。

就是天使，雖然力量權能更大，在對他們宣告從主來的審判的時候還不用毀謗的話。

但我要將那記錄在真理之書上的話告訴你。除了你們的天使米迦勒之外，沒有人幫助我抵擋他們。」

「那時，保佑你百姓的天使長米迦勒必站起來，並且有大艱難，自從有國以來直到此時，未曾有過這樣的事。那時，你的百姓凡記錄在冊上的，必得拯救。

但波斯國的領袖攔阻了我二十一天。看哪，天使長中的一位米迦勒來幫助我，因為我被留在波斯諸王那裏。

因為，召集令一發，天使長的呼聲一叫，神的號角一吹，主必親自從天降臨；那在基督裏死了的人必先復活，

從那裏經過的人譏笑他，搖着頭，說：「哼！你這拆毀殿、三日又建造起來的，

同釘的犯人中有一個譏笑他，說：「你不是基督嗎？救救你自己和我們吧！」另一個就應聲責備他，說：「你是一樣受刑的，還不怕神嗎？

「你們要對猶大王希西家如此說：『不要聽你所倚靠的神欺哄你說：耶路撒冷必不交在亞述王的手中。看哪，你總聽說亞述諸王向列國所行的是盡行滅絕，難道你能倖免嗎？我祖先所毀滅的，就是歌散、哈蘭、利色和提‧拉撒的伊甸人；這些國的神明何曾拯救他們呢？哈馬的王，亞珥拔的王，西法瓦音城的王，希拿和以瓦的王，都在哪裏呢？』」希西家從使者手裏接過書信，看完了，就上耶和華的殿，在耶和華面前展開書信。希西家向耶和華禱告說：「坐在基路伯之上萬軍之耶和華－以色列的神啊，你，惟有你是地上萬國的神，你創造了天和地。耶和華啊，求你側耳而聽；耶和華啊，求你睜眼而看，聽西拿基立差遣使者辱罵永生神的一切話。耶和華啊，亞述諸王果然使列國和列國之地變為荒蕪，將列國的神明扔在火裏，因為它們不是神明，是人手所造的，是木頭、石頭，所以被滅絕了。耶和華－我們的神啊，現在求你救我們脫離亞述王的手，使地上萬國都知道惟有你是耶和華。」

大衛出去迎接他們，回答他們說：「你們若和平地來幫助我，我的心就與你們契合；但你們若把我這雙手無辜的人賣給敵人，願我們列祖的神察看責罰。」

不要以惡報惡，以辱罵還辱罵，倒要祝福，因為你們正是為此蒙召的，好使你們承受福氣。

於是亞述將軍站着，用猶大話大聲喊着說：「你們當聽大王亞述王的話，王如此說：『你們不要被希西家欺哄了，因他不能拯救你們。不要聽憑希西家說服你們倚靠耶和華，他說，耶和華必要拯救我們，這城必不交在亞述王的手中。』你們不要聽希西家的話！因亞述王如此說：『你們要與我講和，出來投降，各人就可以吃自己葡萄樹和無花果樹的果子，喝自己井裏的水，等我來領你們到一個地方，與你們本地一樣，就是有五穀和新酒之地，有糧食和葡萄園之地。恐怕希西家誤導你們說，耶和華必拯救我們。列國的神明有哪一個曾救它本國脫離亞述王的手呢？哈馬和亞珥拔的神明在哪裏呢？西法瓦音的神明在哪裏呢？它們曾救撒瑪利亞脫離我的手嗎？這些國的神明有誰曾救自己的國家脫離我的手呢？難道耶和華能救耶路撒冷脫離我的手嗎？』」百姓靜默不言，一句不答，因為希西家王曾吩咐說：「不要回答他。」

他們對他說：「希西家如此說：『今日是急難、懲罰、凌辱的日子，就如嬰孩快要出生，卻沒有力氣生產。或許耶和華－你的神聽見亞述將軍的話，就是他主人亞述王差他來辱罵永生神的話，耶和華－你的神就斥責所聽見的這些話。求你為倖存的餘民揚聲禱告。』」

「不可毀謗神；也不可詛咒你百姓的領袖。
