昔總領天神彌額爾與魔鬼奪摩西屍體也、猶且不敢擅作威福、加以無謂之凌辱、僅曰：『願主責爾』而已。

But even the archangel Michael, when he was disputing with the devil about the body of Moses, did not himself dare to condemn him for slander but said,“ The Lord rebuke you!”

But even Michael, the leader of the angels, didn’t dare to say these things. He didn’t even say these things when he argued with the devil about the body of Moses. Michael didn’t dare to judge the devil. He didn’t say the devil was guilty of saying evil things. Instead, Michael said,“ May the Lord judge you!”

But when the archangel Michael, contending with the devil, was disputing about the body of Moses, he did not presume to pronounce a blasphemous judgment, but said,“ The Lord rebuke you.”

But even Michael, one of the mightiest of the angels, did not dare accuse the devil of blasphemy, but simply said,“ The Lord rebuke you!”( This took place when Michael was arguing with the devil about Moses’ body.)

Yet when Michael the archangel was disputing with the devil in an argument about Moses’s body, he did not dare utter a slanderous condemnation against him but said,“ The Lord rebuke you!”

But Michael the archangel, when he disputed with the devil and argued about the body of Moses, did not dare pronounce against him an abusive judgment, but said,“ The Lord rebuke you!”

Yet Michael the archangel, in contending with the devil, when he disputed about the body of Moses, dared not bring against him a reviling accusation, but said,“ The Lord rebuke you!”

But Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing judgment, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.

Yet Michael the archangel, when he was disputing with the Devil in a debate about Moses’ body, did not dare bring an abusive condemnation against him but said,“ The Lord rebuke you!”

Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.

But even when Michael the archangel was arguing with the devil and debating with him concerning Moses’ body, he did not dare to bring a slanderous judgment, but said,“ May the Lord rebuke you!”

在天上就有戰爭。米迦勒和他的使者對龍爭戰；龍和他的使者也來爭戰。

永恆主對撒但說：『撒但哪，永恆主叱責你！那揀選了耶路撒冷的永恆主叱責你！這不是從火中搶救出來的一根柴麼？』

永恆主將他埋葬在平谷中、在摩押地、伯毘珥對面；只是到今日也沒有人知道他的葬地在哪裏。

在這裏、天使於力量和權能雖然較大，還不拿謗讟的定罪在主面前來告他們。

然而我必將那記錄在真確書上的事告訴你；除了你們的護衛天使米迦勒之外，沒有一個同我並肩來加強我、以抵擋他們的。

『那時負責護衛你本國子民的大天使長米迦勒必站立起來。必有一個遭難時期，從有國以來直到那時、未曾有過的。但那時你本國的子民中、凡查到被記錄在冊上的、必蒙搭救。

（但波斯國的護衛天使攔阻了我二十一天；幸虧護衛天使長之中有一位、米迦勒、來幫助我；我才得以抽身離開，把他留在波斯王那裏。）

因為主必親自從天上降臨，有發令的吶喊，有天使長的聲音，有上帝的號筒，那些在基督裏死了的人必先復起，

經過的人毁謗他，搖着頭說：『咳，你這拆毁殿堂、三天以內建造起來的、

被懸掛的犯人、有一個毁謗他說：『你不是基督麼？救你自己和我們吧！』那另一個應時責備他說：『你既是受同樣處刑的，你連上帝還不怕麼？

『你們去對猶大王希西家這麼說：「不要讓你的上帝、你所倚靠的上帝、欺哄你說：耶路撒冷必不至於交在亞述王手裏。看哪，你總聽說過亞述諸王怎樣將各地盡行毁滅歸神罷；難道你還能得援救麼？我列祖所毁滅的國：歌散、哈蘭、利色、和在提拉撒的伊甸人；這些國的神何曾援救過它們呢？哈馬的王、亞珥拔的王、西法瓦音城的王、希拿以瓦的王都在哪裏呢？」』希西家從使者手裏把文書接過來；唸完了，就上永恆主的殿；希西家將文書展開在永恆主面前。希西家向永恆主禱告說：『萬軍之永恆主、以色列的上帝、坐在基路伯中間的啊，惟獨你是地上萬國的上帝；是你造了天地。永恆主啊，傾耳以聽哦！永恆主啊，睜開眼睛來看哦！請聽西拿基立的話，就是那打發使者來辱罵永活之上帝的。永恆主啊，亞述諸王真地使所有的國家和它們的地都乾燥荒涼，將它們的神像都扔在火裏；因為他們並不是神，乃是人手造的，木頭石頭的；所以他們除滅他們。永恆主我們的上帝啊，現在求你拯救我們脫離亞述王的手，使地上萬國都知道惟獨你、永恆主、才是上帝。』

大衛出去和他們見面，跟他們應對說：『你們若是和和平平地到我這裏來幫助我，我就和你們一心一意；但你們若將我這手無強暴的人騙在敵人手裏，那麼願我們列祖的上帝察看而斷定是非。』

不可以惡報惡，或以辱罵報辱罵；倒要祝福；因為你們是為了這個而蒙召、好承受祝福的。

於是參謀長站着，用猶大語大聲喊叫說：『你們要聽大王亞述王的話。王這麼說：「你們不要給希西家欺哄了，因為他實在不能援救你們；也不要讓希西家使你們倚靠永恆主、說：『永恆主一定會援救我們，而這城必不至於交在亞述王手裏。』你們不要聽希西家的話；因為亞述王這麼說：「你們要向我祝福請安，出來投降我，各人就可以喫自己葡萄樹、自己無花果樹的果子，喝自己井裏的水；等我來領你們到一個地像你們本地一樣；一個有五穀和新酒之地，一個有糧食和葡萄園之地，免得希西家教唆你們說：『永恆主一定會援救我們。』列國的神有哪一位曾援救過他的本地脫離亞述王的手呢？哈馬亞珥拔的神在哪裏？西法瓦音的神在哪裏？他們何曾援救過撒瑪利亞脫離我的手呢？這些國家的神有誰曾援救過他們的本地脫離我的手呢？難道永恆主能援救耶路撒冷脫離我的手麼？」』眾民都不作聲，一句話也沒有回答他，因為王是吩咐說：『不要回答他。』

對他說：『希西家這麼說：「今日是有急難、受責罰、受侮慢的日子；就如嬰兒臨到生產的關頭，卻沒有力量生出來。或者永恆主你的上帝聽見參謀長的話，就是他主上亞述王打發他來辱罵永活之上帝的；或者永恆主你的上帝會斥責他所聽見的話：故此求你為所有餘剩之民呈上禱告。」』

『不可咒罵官長，不可咒詛你民間的首領。
