至上天使米迦勒、與魔鬼爭摩西屍、猶不敢詬誶定其罪、惟曰、主責爾矣、

昔總領天神彌額爾與魔鬼奪摩西屍體也、猶且不敢擅作威福、加以無謂之凌辱、僅曰：『願主責爾』而已。

But even the archangel Michael, when he was disputing with the devil about the body of Moses, did not himself dare to condemn him for slander but said,“ The Lord rebuke you!”

But even Michael, the leader of the angels, didn’t dare to say these things. He didn’t even say these things when he argued with the devil about the body of Moses. Michael didn’t dare to judge the devil. He didn’t say the devil was guilty of saying evil things. Instead, Michael said,“ May the Lord judge you!”

But when the archangel Michael, contending with the devil, was disputing about the body of Moses, he did not presume to pronounce a blasphemous judgment, but said,“ The Lord rebuke you.”

But even Michael, one of the mightiest of the angels, did not dare accuse the devil of blasphemy, but simply said,“ The Lord rebuke you!”( This took place when Michael was arguing with the devil about Moses’ body.)

Yet when Michael the archangel was disputing with the devil in an argument about Moses’s body, he did not dare utter a slanderous condemnation against him but said,“ The Lord rebuke you!”

But Michael the archangel, when he disputed with the devil and argued about the body of Moses, did not dare pronounce against him an abusive judgment, but said,“ The Lord rebuke you!”

Yet Michael the archangel, in contending with the devil, when he disputed about the body of Moses, dared not bring against him a reviling accusation, but said,“ The Lord rebuke you!”

But Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing judgment, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.

Yet Michael the archangel, when he was disputing with the Devil in a debate about Moses’ body, did not dare bring an abusive condemnation against him but said,“ The Lord rebuke you!”

Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.

天使雖較彼能力更大、尚不詬詈以罪之於主前、

但我先以未來之事、載於真實經籍者、指示於爾、或作但我先以載於真實經籍之事告爾論及禦彼眾、除護爾之君米迦勒外、無有助我者、

是時必有大難、自生民以來、至於其時、無有若是者、護爾民之大君米迦勒必興起、捍衛爾曹、斯時爾民、凡名錄於册者、必蒙救援、

護巴西國之君、君或作天使下同阻我二十有一日、我羈留在巴西列王之所、其後米迦勒、諸大君之一、來助我、

蓋天使長大聲呼號、吹天主角時、主必由天而降、則信基督而死者、必先復活、

過者譏之、搖首曰、噫、毀聖殿三日又建之者、

同懸之犯、其一謗耶穌曰、爾若基督、可救己及我儕、其一責之曰、爾同受罪、猶不畏天主乎、

當如是告猶大王希西家曰、爾勿為爾恃之神所惑、自言耶路撒冷必不至陷於亞述王手、亞述列王、如何待列國、如何翦滅列國、爾亦必聞之、獨爾能得免乎、我祖所毀滅之列國、歌散、哈蘭、利薛、及居提拉撒之伊甸族、彼諸國之神、何嘗救其國耶、哈末之王安在、亞珥拔之王安在、西法瓦音邑之王安在、希拿與以瓦之王安在、此節所言之王即神也希西家自使者手、接書讀之、既畢、遂上主之殿、以書展於主前、希西家禱於主前曰、居二基路伯間萬有之主以色列之天主歟、惟主為天下萬國之天主、天地乃主所造、求主側耳垂聽、求主啟目垂顧、聽西拿基立遣使毀謗永生天主之言、主歟、亞述列王、毀滅列民與其國、以火焚其神、誠有此事、但其神非天主、非天主或作非真神乃木石之偶像、人手所造者、故被毀滅、

大衛出迎、謂之曰、爾來意若平善、欲助我、則我願與爾結盟、如欲欺我、將我無辜者付於敵手、願我列祖之天主、鑒察加責、

勿以惡報惡、勿以詬報詬、反為之祝福、蓋知爾之蒙召原為此、使爾得福也、

拉伯沙基遂立、用猶大言、大聲呼曰、爾曹須聽亞述大王之言、王如是云、勿為希西家所誘、彼不能救爾曹、勿聽希西家使爾恃主之言、彼曰、主必救我儕、此城不致陷於亞述王手、勿聽希西家之言、蓋亞述王如是云、爾當與我修好、出而降我、則爾可各食己葡萄樹及無花果樹之果、各飲己井之水、迨我來遷爾至一地、與爾之地無異、即有穀、有酒、有糧、糧原文作餅有葡萄園之地、希西家誘爾曰、主必救我儕、爾勿聽之、列國之諸神、何嘗有神救其國、脫於亞述王之手、哈末與亞珥拔之神安在、西法瓦音之神安在、撒瑪利亞之諸神、何嘗救撒瑪利亞脫於我手、列國之諸神中、有誰救其國脫於我手、獨主能救耶路撒冷脫於我手乎、眾靜默不答一言、因王命曰、勿答之、

曰、希西家如是云、今日乃急難禍患禍患或作譴責羞辱羞辱或作褻瀆之日、若婦將分娩、而無力以產、亞述王遣拉伯沙基毀謗永生天主、主爾之天主、或聞其言而加以譴責、求爾為此尚存之餘民祈禱、

毋詈士師、或作毋褻瀆天主毋詛民長、○
