昔總領天神彌額爾與魔鬼奪摩西屍體也、猶且不敢擅作威福、加以無謂之凌辱、僅曰：『願主責爾』而已。

But even the archangel Michael, when he was disputing with the devil about the body of Moses, did not himself dare to condemn him for slander but said,“ The Lord rebuke you!”

But even Michael, the leader of the angels, didn’t dare to say these things. He didn’t even say these things when he argued with the devil about the body of Moses. Michael didn’t dare to judge the devil. He didn’t say the devil was guilty of saying evil things. Instead, Michael said,“ May the Lord judge you!”

But when the archangel Michael, contending with the devil, was disputing about the body of Moses, he did not presume to pronounce a blasphemous judgment, but said,“ The Lord rebuke you.”

But even Michael, one of the mightiest of the angels, did not dare accuse the devil of blasphemy, but simply said,“ The Lord rebuke you!”( This took place when Michael was arguing with the devil about Moses’ body.)

Yet when Michael the archangel was disputing with the devil in an argument about Moses’s body, he did not dare utter a slanderous condemnation against him but said,“ The Lord rebuke you!”

But Michael the archangel, when he disputed with the devil and argued about the body of Moses, did not dare pronounce against him an abusive judgment, but said,“ The Lord rebuke you!”

Yet Michael the archangel, in contending with the devil, when he disputed about the body of Moses, dared not bring against him a reviling accusation, but said,“ The Lord rebuke you!”

But Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing judgment, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.

Yet Michael the archangel, when he was disputing with the Devil in a debate about Moses’ body, did not dare bring an abusive condemnation against him but said,“ The Lord rebuke you!”

Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.

But even when Michael the archangel was arguing with the devil and debating with him concerning Moses’ body, he did not dare to bring a slanderous judgment, but said,“ May the Lord rebuke you!”

在天上就有了爭戰。米迦勒同他的使者與龍爭戰，龍也同牠的使者去爭戰，

耶和華向撒但說：「撒但哪，耶和華責備你！就是揀選耶路撒冷的耶和華責備你！這不是從火中抽出來的一根柴嗎？」

耶和華將他埋葬在摩押地、伯‧毗珥對面的谷中，只是到今日沒有人知道他的墳墓。

就是天使，雖然力量權能更大，還不用毀謗的話在主面前告他們。

但我要將那錄在真確書上的事告訴你。除了你們的大君米迦勒之外，沒有幫助我抵擋這兩魔君的。」

「那時，保佑你本國之民的天使長米迦勒必站起來，並且有大艱難，從有國以來直到此時，沒有這樣的。你本國的民中，凡名錄在冊上的，必得拯救。

但波斯國的魔君攔阻我二十一日。忽然有大君中的一位米迦勒來幫助我，我就停留在波斯諸王那裏。

因為主必親自從天降臨，有呼叫的聲音和天使長的聲音，又有神的號吹響；那在基督裏死了的人必先復活。

從那裏經過的人辱罵他，搖着頭說：「咳！你這拆毀聖殿、三日又建造起來的，

那同釘的兩個犯人有一個譏笑他，說：「你不是基督嗎？可以救自己和我們吧！」那一個就應聲責備他，說：「你既是一樣受刑的，還不怕神嗎？

「你們對猶大王希西家如此說：『不要聽你所倚靠的神欺哄你說：耶路撒冷必不交在亞述王的手中。你總聽說亞述諸王向列國所行的乃是盡行滅絕，難道你還能得救嗎？我列祖所毀滅的，就是歌散、哈蘭、利色，和屬提‧拉撒的伊甸人；這些國的神何曾拯救這些國呢？哈馬的王，亞珥拔的王，西法瓦音城的王，希拿和以瓦的王，都在哪裏呢？』」希西家從使者手裏接過書信來，看完了，就上耶和華的殿，將書信在耶和華面前展開。希西家向耶和華禱告說：「坐在二基路伯上萬軍之耶和華－以色列的神啊，你－惟有你是天下萬國的神，你曾創造天地。耶和華啊，求你側耳而聽；耶和華啊，求你睜眼而看，要聽西拿基立的一切話，他是打發使者來辱罵永生神的。耶和華啊，亞述諸王果然使列國和列國之地變為荒涼，將列國的神像都扔在火裏；因為他本不是神，乃是人手所造的，是木頭、石頭的，所以滅絕他。耶和華－我們的神啊，現在求你救我們脫離亞述王的手，使天下萬國都知道惟有你是耶和華。」

大衛出去迎接他們，對他們說：「你們若是和和平平地來幫助我，我心就與你們相契；你們若是將我這無罪的人賣在敵人手裏，願我們列祖的神察看責罰。」

不以惡報惡，以辱罵還辱罵，倒要祝福；因你們是為此蒙召，好叫你們承受福氣。

於是，拉伯沙基站着，用猶大言語大聲喊着說：「你們當聽亞述大王的話。王如此說：『你們不要被希西家欺哄了，因他不能拯救你們。也不要聽希西家使你們倚靠耶和華說：耶和華必要拯救我們，這城必不交在亞述王的手中。』不要聽希西家的話，因亞述王如此說：『你們要與我和好。出來投降我，各人就可以吃自己葡萄樹和無花果樹的果子，喝自己井裏的水。等我來領你們到一個地方，與你們本地一樣，就是有五穀和新酒之地，有糧食和葡萄園之地。你們要謹防，恐怕希西家勸導你們說：耶和華必拯救我們。列國的神有哪一個救他本國脫離亞述王的手呢？哈馬和亞珥拔的神在哪裏呢？西法瓦音的神在哪裏呢？他們曾救撒馬利亞脫離我的手嗎？這些國的神有誰曾救自己的國脫離我的手呢？難道耶和華能救耶路撒冷脫離我的手嗎？』」百姓靜默不言，並不回答一句，因為王曾吩咐說：「不要回答他。」

對他說：「希西家如此說：『今日是急難、責罰、凌辱的日子，就如婦人將要生產嬰孩，卻沒有力量生產。或者耶和華－你的神聽見拉伯沙基的話，就是他主人亞述王打發他來辱罵永生神的話；耶和華－你的神聽見這話就發斥責。故此，求你為餘剩的民揚聲禱告。』」

「不可毀謗神；也不可毀謗你百姓的官長。
