昔總領天神彌額爾與魔鬼奪摩西屍體也、猶且不敢擅作威福、加以無謂之凌辱、僅曰：『願主責爾』而已。

But even the archangel Michael, when he was disputing with the devil about the body of Moses, did not himself dare to condemn him for slander but said,“ The Lord rebuke you!”

But even Michael, the leader of the angels, didn’t dare to say these things. He didn’t even say these things when he argued with the devil about the body of Moses. Michael didn’t dare to judge the devil. He didn’t say the devil was guilty of saying evil things. Instead, Michael said,“ May the Lord judge you!”

But when the archangel Michael, contending with the devil, was disputing about the body of Moses, he did not presume to pronounce a blasphemous judgment, but said,“ The Lord rebuke you.”

But even Michael, one of the mightiest of the angels, did not dare accuse the devil of blasphemy, but simply said,“ The Lord rebuke you!”( This took place when Michael was arguing with the devil about Moses’ body.)

Yet when Michael the archangel was disputing with the devil in an argument about Moses’s body, he did not dare utter a slanderous condemnation against him but said,“ The Lord rebuke you!”

But Michael the archangel, when he disputed with the devil and argued about the body of Moses, did not dare pronounce against him an abusive judgment, but said,“ The Lord rebuke you!”

Yet Michael the archangel, in contending with the devil, when he disputed about the body of Moses, dared not bring against him a reviling accusation, but said,“ The Lord rebuke you!”

But Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing judgment, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.

Yet Michael the archangel, when he was disputing with the Devil in a debate about Moses’ body, did not dare bring an abusive condemnation against him but said,“ The Lord rebuke you!”

Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.

But even when Michael the archangel was arguing with the devil and debating with him concerning Moses’ body, he did not dare to bring a slanderous judgment, but said,“ May the Lord rebuke you!”

But Michael, the archangel, when contending with the devil and arguing about the body of Moses, dared not bring against him an abusive condemnation, but said,“ May the Lord rebuke you!”

接著，天上發生了戰爭：米迦勒和他的天使們與龍交戰，龍和牠的使者們也應戰，

耶和華對撒旦說：「撒旦哪，耶和華斥責你！揀選耶路撒冷的耶和華斥責你！這人難道不是從火中得解救的一根燃燒的木柴嗎？」

就算是天使們，雖然有更大的力量和權能，也不在主面前用毀謗的話控告他們。

不過，我會把真理之書上所記載的告訴你。除了你們的護衛天使米迦勒以外，沒有一個支持我抵擋他們。

「末後的時期，守護你子民的偉大護衛天使米迦勒必站出來；並且會有一段患難的時期，自從有國家以來直到那時候未曾有過；末後的時期，你的子民中凡是被記在那冊子上的，都必得救。

不過，波斯國的護衛天使攔阻了我二十一天；看哪！護衛天使長之一的米迦勒來幫助了我，因為我被留在那裡，與波斯君王們在一起。

因為在發令的呼喊聲中，在天使長的聲音和神的號角聲中，主要親自從天降臨，而且那些在基督裡死去的人要先復活，

那些路過的人辱罵耶穌，搖著頭，說：「咳！你這個要拆毀聖所、三天內又建起來的人哪，

被懸掛的兩個囚犯中，有一個辱罵他說：「你不是基督嗎？救救你自己，也救救我們吧！」另一個就應聲斥責他，說：「你既然同樣受懲罰，還不怕神嗎？

「你們要對猶大王希西加這樣說：『不要讓你所依靠的神欺哄你，說：耶路撒冷必不落入亞述王的手中。看哪！你必定聽說過亞述列王向各國所行的，就是把它們滅絕淨盡；難道只有你能得解救嗎？我祖先所毀滅的，有歌撒、哈蘭和利色，還有在提拉撒的伊甸子孫，那些國的神明解救他們了嗎？哈馬的王、亞珥拔的王，拉伊珥、西法瓦音、希拿、以瓦的眾王，如今都在哪裡呢？』」希西加從使者們手裡接過書信，讀完了，就上耶和華的殿，在耶和華面前展開書信。希西加向耶和華禱告，說：「坐在基路伯之上的萬軍之耶和華，以色列的神哪！唯獨你——你是地上萬國的神，是你造了諸天和大地。耶和華啊，求你側耳聽！耶和華啊，求你睜眼看！聽聽西納基立派人來辱罵永生神的一切話！耶和華啊，亞述列王確實使列國和它們的國土荒廢，又把它們的神像扔進火中；那些神像之所以被滅絕，是因為它們不是神，只不過是人手所造的，是用木頭、石頭造的！耶和華我們的神哪，現在求你拯救我們脫離亞述王的手，使地上萬國都知道，唯獨你——你是耶和華！」

不要以惡報惡，以辱罵還辱罵，反要祝福，因為你們是為此蒙召的，好使你們繼承祝福。

然後，將軍站著用猶大話大聲呼喊，說：「你們要聽亞述大王的話！王如此說：『不要讓希西加欺哄你們，因為他不能解救你們；也不要讓希西加說服你們依靠耶和華，因為他會說：耶和華必定解救我們，這城必不落入亞述王手中。』「你們不要聽希西加的話，因為亞述王如此說：『你們要與我和好，出來向我投降，各人就可以吃自己葡萄樹和無花果樹的果實，喝自己水窖裡的水；以後我會來，把你們帶到一個地方，與你們本土一樣，是一個有五穀和新酒的地方，一個有糧食和葡萄園的地方。不要讓希西加唆哄你們，說：耶和華必解救我們。列國的神明中，有哪一個曾解救自己的國土脫離亞述王的手呢？哈馬和亞珥拔的神在哪裡呢？西法瓦音的神在哪裡呢？難道他們曾解救撒馬利亞脫離我的手嗎？這些國所有的神明中，有哪一個曾解救自己的國土脫離我的手呢？難道耶和華會解救耶路撒冷脫離我的手嗎？』」眾人都默不作聲，一句也不回應，因為希西加王有令說：「不許回應他。」

他們對他說：「希西加如此說：『今天是一個患難、責罰、恥辱的日子；因為嬰孩已經臨盆，我們卻沒有力氣生下來。將軍的主人亞述王派他來辱罵永生的神，或許耶和華你的神聽見了他的話，就會斥責所聽見的那些話。因此，求你為幸存的餘剩之民獻上禱告。』」
