昔總領天神彌額爾與魔鬼奪摩西屍體也、猶且不敢擅作威福、加以無謂之凌辱、僅曰：『願主責爾』而已。

But even the archangel Michael, when he was disputing with the devil about the body of Moses, did not himself dare to condemn him for slander but said,“ The Lord rebuke you!”

But even Michael, the leader of the angels, didn’t dare to say these things. He didn’t even say these things when he argued with the devil about the body of Moses. Michael didn’t dare to judge the devil. He didn’t say the devil was guilty of saying evil things. Instead, Michael said,“ May the Lord judge you!”

But when the archangel Michael, contending with the devil, was disputing about the body of Moses, he did not presume to pronounce a blasphemous judgment, but said,“ The Lord rebuke you.”

But even Michael, one of the mightiest of the angels, did not dare accuse the devil of blasphemy, but simply said,“ The Lord rebuke you!”( This took place when Michael was arguing with the devil about Moses’ body.)

Yet when Michael the archangel was disputing with the devil in an argument about Moses’s body, he did not dare utter a slanderous condemnation against him but said,“ The Lord rebuke you!”

But Michael the archangel, when he disputed with the devil and argued about the body of Moses, did not dare pronounce against him an abusive judgment, but said,“ The Lord rebuke you!”

Yet Michael the archangel, in contending with the devil, when he disputed about the body of Moses, dared not bring against him a reviling accusation, but said,“ The Lord rebuke you!”

But Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing judgment, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.

Yet Michael the archangel, when he was disputing with the Devil in a debate about Moses’ body, did not dare bring an abusive condemnation against him but said,“ The Lord rebuke you!”

天上发生了战争：米迦勒和他的天使与龙作战。龙和它的天使也起来应战，

耶和华对撒但说：“撒但哪！耶和华斥责你，那拣选了耶路撒冷的耶和华斥责你。这个人不是从火中抽出来的一根柴吗？”

耶和华把他埋葬在摩押地，伯．毗珥对面的山谷里，只是直到今日还没有人知道埋葬他的地方。

就是天使，虽有更大的力量与权能，尚且不用毁谤的话在主面前控告他们。

我来是要把那记录在真理书上的事告诉你。除了你们的护卫天使米迦勒之外，没有一个帮助我，和我一起抵挡他们。”

“那时保护你同胞的伟大护卫天使米迦勒必站起来；并且必有患难的时期，是立国以来直到那时未曾有过的。那时你的同胞中名字记录在册上的，都必得拯救。

但波斯国的护卫天使拦阻我二十一天；后来有护卫天使长中的一位米迦勒来帮助我，我就留他在那里（按照《马索拉文本》，“我就留他在那里”应作“我就被留在那里”；现参照《七十士译本》翻译），和波斯众王在一起。

因为主必亲自从天降临，那时，有发令的声音，有天使长的呼声，还有神的号声，那些在基督里死了的人必先复活；

过路的人讥笑他，摇着头说：“哼，你这个要拆毁圣所，三日之内又把它建造起来的，

悬挂着的犯人中，有一个侮辱他说：“你不是基督吗？救你自己和我们吧！”另一个就应声责备他说：“你是同样受刑的，还不惧怕神吗？

“你们要对犹大王希西家这样说：不要给你所倚靠的神欺骗你说：耶路撒冷必不交在亚述王的手里。你必定听过亚述列王向列国所行的，就是把她们完全毁灭，难道你还有救吗？我列祖所毁灭的国，有歌撒、哈兰、利色和在提．拉撒的伊甸人，这些国的神曾拯救她们吗？哈马的王、亚珥拔的王、西法瓦音城的王、希拿和以瓦的王，现在都在哪里呢？”希西家从使者手里接过信卷，读完了，就上耶和华的殿，在耶和华面前把信卷展开。希西家向耶和华祷告说：“万军之耶和华，以色列的神，坐在二基路伯中间的啊！唯独你是地上万国的神；你创造了天地。耶和华啊，求你侧耳而听！耶和华啊，求你开眼察看！要听西拿基立的一切话，就是那差派使者来辱骂永活的神的。耶和华啊！亚述列王果然使列国和他们的土地变成荒凉，又把列国的神都扔进火中；因为他们不是神，只是人手所做的，不过是木头和石头，所以他们就灭绝了他们。耶和华我们的神啊！现在求你拯救我们脱离亚述王的手，使地上万国都知道唯有你耶和华是神。”

大卫出去迎见他们，对他们说：“你们若是存着和平的心到我这里来帮助我，我就与你们结盟，但你们若是把我这无辜的人出卖给我的敌人，就愿我们列祖的神鉴察和审判。”

不要以恶报恶，以辱骂还辱骂，倒要祝福，因为你们就是为此蒙召，好叫你们承受福气。

于是拉伯沙基站着，用犹大语大声呼喊说：“你们要听亚述大王的话，王这样说：‘你们不要被希西家欺骗了，因为他决不能拯救你们；也不要给希西家说服你们倚靠耶和华，说：耶和华必定拯救我们，这城也必不交在亚述王的手中。’不要听希西家的话，因为亚述王这样说：‘你们要与我和好（“与我和好”直译是“向我祝福问安”），出来向我投降，这样各人就可以吃自己葡萄树和无花果树的果子，也可以喝自己井里的水；等到我来的时候，就会把你们领到一个与你们本地一样的地方；就是一个有五谷和新酒的地方，一个有粮食和葡萄园的地方。你们要小心，免得希西家怂恿你们说：耶和华必拯救我们。列国的神有哪一位曾拯救自己的国土脱离亚述王的手呢？哈马和亚珥拔的神在哪里呢？西法瓦音的神在哪里呢？他们曾拯救撒玛利亚脱离我的手吗？这些国所有的神中，有哪一个曾拯救自己的国土脱离我的手呢？难道耶和华能拯救耶路撒冷脱离我的手吗？’”众人都默不作声，一句话也没有回答他，因为王的吩咐说：“不要回答他。”

他们对他说：“希西家这样说：‘今日是急难、责罚和凌辱的日子，就像婴孩快要出生的时候，却没有气力生出来一样。也许耶和华你的神听见拉伯沙基的话，就是他的主人亚述王派他来辱骂永活的神的话；耶和华你的神会因他所听见的话斥责他；因此，求你为余剩下来的人献上祷告。’”

“不可咒骂神，也不可咒诅你人民的领袖。
