至上天使米迦勒、與魔鬼爭摩西屍、猶不敢詬誶定其罪、惟曰、主責爾矣、

天使長米迦勒為摩西之屍與魔爭、猶不敢用謗言以罪之、惟曰、主責爾、

昔總領天神彌額爾與魔鬼奪摩西屍體也、猶且不敢擅作威福、加以無謂之凌辱、僅曰：『願主責爾』而已。

But even the archangel Michael, when he was disputing with the devil about the body of Moses, did not himself dare to condemn him for slander but said,“ The Lord rebuke you!”

But even Michael, the leader of the angels, didn’t dare to say these things. He didn’t even say these things when he argued with the devil about the body of Moses. Michael didn’t dare to judge the devil. He didn’t say the devil was guilty of saying evil things. Instead, Michael said,“ May the Lord judge you!”

But when the archangel Michael, contending with the devil, was disputing about the body of Moses, he did not presume to pronounce a blasphemous judgment, but said,“ The Lord rebuke you.”

But even Michael, one of the mightiest of the angels, did not dare accuse the devil of blasphemy, but simply said,“ The Lord rebuke you!”( This took place when Michael was arguing with the devil about Moses’ body.)

Yet when Michael the archangel was disputing with the devil in an argument about Moses’s body, he did not dare utter a slanderous condemnation against him but said,“ The Lord rebuke you!”

But Michael the archangel, when he disputed with the devil and argued about the body of Moses, did not dare pronounce against him an abusive judgment, but said,“ The Lord rebuke you!”

Yet Michael the archangel, in contending with the devil, when he disputed about the body of Moses, dared not bring against him a reviling accusation, but said,“ The Lord rebuke you!”

But Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing judgment, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.

Yet Michael the archangel, when he was disputing with the Devil in a debate about Moses’ body, did not dare bring an abusive condemnation against him but said,“ The Lord rebuke you!”

天上起了戰爭，米迦勒和他的天使出戰巨龍。巨龍和牠的天使極力抵抗，

耶和華對撒旦說：「撒旦啊，耶和華斥責你！揀選耶路撒冷的耶和華斥責你！這人豈不像從火中抽出來的一根柴嗎？」

耶和華把他安葬在摩押境內伯·毗珥對面的山谷，至今無人知道摩西的墳墓在哪裡。

即使力量和權能更大的天使都不敢在主面前用毀謗的話控告有尊榮的。

除了你們的守護天使米迦勒以外，誰也不能幫助我抵擋他們。我來是要把記錄在真理書上的事告訴你。

「那時，守護你本國人民的天使長米迦勒必出現。將有一段災難時期，是開國以來從未有過的。那時，你同胞中凡名字記在冊子上的，必得拯救。

波斯國的守護神攔阻我二十一日。由於我滯留在波斯諸王那裡，天使長米迦勒便來幫助我。

因為主必在號令聲、天使長的呼喊聲和上帝的號角聲中親自從天降臨，已經離世的基督徒必先復活。

過路的人都嘲笑祂，搖著頭說：「哈，你這要把聖殿拆毀又在三天內重建的人啊，

跟耶穌同釘十字架的一個罪犯也譏笑耶穌，說：「你不是基督嗎？救你自己和我們呀！」另一個罪犯卻責備他說：「你同樣是受刑的，難道不怕上帝嗎？

「不要讓你所倚靠的上帝愚弄你，說什麼耶路撒冷必不會落在亞述王手中。你肯定聽過亞述諸王掃滅列國的事，難道你能倖免嗎？我先祖毀滅了歌散、哈蘭、利色和提·拉撒的伊甸人，這些國家的神明救得了他們嗎？哈馬王、亞珥拔王、西法瓦音城的王、希拿王和以瓦王如今在哪裡呢？」希西迦從使者手中接過信，讀完後走進耶和華的殿，在耶和華面前展開信，禱告說：「坐在二基路伯天使之上、以色列的上帝——萬軍之耶和華啊，唯有你是天下萬國的上帝，你創造了天地。耶和華啊，求你側耳垂聽！耶和華啊，求你睜眼察看！求你聽聽西拿基立派人來辱罵永活上帝的話。耶和華啊，亞述諸王確實掃滅列國，使其土地荒涼，把他們的神像丟進火中燒毀。因為那些神像只是人用木頭石頭製造的，根本不是神。我們的上帝耶和華啊，現在求你從亞述王手中拯救我們，讓天下萬國都知道唯有你是耶和華。」

大衛出去迎接他們，說：「如果你們是好心來幫助我的，我就與你們結盟，但如果你們把我這無罪之人出賣給敵人，願我們祖先的上帝鑒察、懲罰你們。」

不要以惡報惡，以辱駡還辱駡，反要祝福對方，這是你們蒙召的目的，好叫你們得到祝福。

於是，他站著用希伯來語大喊：「你們要聽偉大的亞述王的話，王說，『你們不要被希西迦欺騙，他不能救你們。不要聽希西迦的話去倚靠耶和華，說什麼耶和華必拯救你們，這城必不會落在亞述王手中。』不要聽希西迦的話。亞述王說，『你們要跟我講和，出來歸順我。這樣，你們就可以吃自己葡萄樹和無花果樹的果子，喝自己井裡的水。以後我會來領你們到一個地方，那裡和這裡一樣有五穀和新酒、餅和葡萄園。不要讓希西迦欺騙你們，以為耶和華必拯救你們。列國的神明中有哪個曾經從亞述王手中救他的國家呢？哈馬和亞珥拔的神明在哪裡呢？西法瓦音的神明在哪裡呢？他們從我手中救撒瑪利亞了嗎？這些國家的神明中有哪個曾從我手中救自己的國家呢？難道耶和華能從我手中救耶路撒冷嗎？』」民眾默不作聲，一言不發，因為希西迦曾吩咐他們不要答話。

對他說：「希西迦說，『今日是遭難、蒙羞、受辱的日子，就像嬰兒要出生，產婦卻無力生產一樣。亞述王派他的元帥來辱罵永活的上帝，也許你的上帝耶和華聽見那些話，就懲罰他。請你為我們這些剩下的人禱告。』」

不可褻瀆上帝，也不可咒詛百姓的官長。
