In the same way these people— relying on their dreams— defile their flesh, reject authority, and slander glorious ones.

然而照樣子、這些人還是在夢中染污肉體，棄絕主尊，謗讟「眾榮耀」的靈。

不過，這些做夢的人一方面也同樣地汙穢身體，另一方面拒絕有主權的，又褻瀆那些有榮耀的。

但斯人於夢幻中、亦如是污衊形軀、藐忽執政、謗讟尊榮、

若此之人、等諸夢幻、污衊其身、藐視執政、譭謗尊者、

此等夢寐者、亦若是污其身、藐視執政者、毀謗居尊位者、

今日之醉生夢死、玷身辱體目無主宰、凌辱天神者、亦復如是、

In the very same way, on the strength of their dreams these ungodly people pollute their own bodies, reject authority and heap abuse on celestial beings.

In the very same way, these ungodly people act on their evil dreams. So they make their own bodies impure. They don’t accept authority. And they say evil things against heavenly beings.

Yet in like manner these people also, relying on their dreams, defile the flesh, reject authority, and blaspheme the glorious ones.

In the same way, these people— who claim authority from their dreams— live immoral lives, defy authority, and scoff at supernatural beings.

Yet in the same way these people also, dreaming, defile the flesh, reject authority, and speak abusively of angelic majesties.

Likewise also these dreamers defile the flesh, reject authority, and speak evil of dignitaries.

Yet in like manner these also in their dreamings defile the flesh, and set at nought dominion, and rail at dignities.

Nevertheless, these dreamers likewise defile their flesh, reject authority, and blaspheme glorious ones.

Likewise also these[ filthy] dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities.

Yet these men, as a result of their dreams, defile the flesh, reject authority, and insult the glorious ones.

Yet in the same way, these also in their dreaming defile the flesh, despise authority, and slander celestial beings.

Obey your leaders and submit to them, since they keep watch over your souls as those who will give an account, so that they can do this with joy and not with grief, for that would be unprofitable for you.

for the sexually immoral and males who have sex with males, for slave traders, liars, perjurers, and for whatever else is contrary to the sound teaching

Honor everyone. Love the brothers and sisters. Fear God. Honor the emperor.

especially those who follow the polluting desires of the flesh and despise authority. Bold, arrogant people! They are not afraid to slander the glorious ones;however, angels, who are greater in might and power, do not bring a slanderous charge against them before the Lord.But these people, like irrational animals— creatures of instinct born to be caught and destroyed— slander what they do not understand, and in their destruction they too will be destroyed.

Do not curse the king even in your thoughts, and do not curse a rich person even in your bedroom, for a bird of the sky may carry the message, and a winged creature may report the matter.

They came together against Moses and Aaron and told them,“ You have gone too far! Everyone in the entire community is holy, and the LORD is among them. Why then do you exalt yourselves above the LORD’s assembly?”

“ But the one who was mistreating his neighbor pushed Moses aside, saying: Who appointed you a ruler and a judge over us?

Why do the nations rage and the peoples plot in vain?The kings of the earth take their stand, and the rulers conspire together against the LORD and his Anointed One:“ Let’s tear off their chains and throw their ropes off of us.”The one enthroned in heaven laughs; the Lord ridicules them.Then he speaks to them in his anger and terrifies them in his wrath:“ I have installed my king on Zion, my holy mountain.”

“ You must not blaspheme God or curse a leader among your people.

If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy him; for God’s temple is holy, and that is what you are.

Yet when Michael the archangel was disputing with the devil in an argument about Moses’s body, he did not dare utter a slanderous condemnation against him but said,“ The Lord rebuke you!”But these people blaspheme anything they do not understand. And what they do understand by instinct— like irrational animals— by these things they are destroyed.

As for the eye that ridicules a father and despises obedience to a mother, may ravens of the valley pluck it out and young vultures eat it.

“ In fact, God knows that when you eat it your eyes will be opened and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”

May the LORD cut off all flattering lips and the tongue that speaks boastfully.They say,“ Through our tongues we have power; our lips are our own— who can be our master?”

There is a generation that curses its father and does not bless its mother.

Moses sent for Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, but they said,“ We will not come!Is it not enough that you brought us up from a land flowing with milk and honey to kill us in the wilderness? Do you also have to appoint yourself as ruler over us?

Consequently, anyone who rejects this does not reject man, but God, who gives you his Holy Spirit.

Our ancestors were unwilling to obey him. Instead, they pushed him aside, and in their hearts turned back to Egypt.
