此輩怨天尤人、牢騷滿腹、所行惟殉私欲、所言皆屬荒誕、阿諛諂媚、惟利是圖。

These people are grumblers and faultfinders; they follow their own evil desires; they boast about themselves and flatter others for their own advantage.

But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction.And many will follow their sensuality, and because of them the way of truth will be blasphemed.And in their greed they will exploit you with false words. Their condemnation from long ago is not idle, and their destruction is not asleep.

Therefore it is against the Lord that you and all your company have gathered together. What is Aaron that you grumble against him?”

and constant friction among people who are depraved in mind and deprived of the truth, imagining that godliness is a means of gain.

nor grumble, as some of them did and were destroyed by the Destroyer.

“ You shall do no injustice in court. You shall not be partial to the poor or defer to the great, but in righteousness shall you judge your neighbor.

in whose eyes a vile person is despised, but who honors those who fear the Lord; who swears to his own hurt and does not change;

so as to live for the rest of the time in the flesh no longer for human passions but for the will of God.

They said to you,“ In the last time there will be scoffers, following their own ungodly passions.”

not in the passion of lust like the Gentiles who do not know God;

And those who go astray in spirit will come to understanding, and those who murmur will accept instruction.”

Beloved, I urge you as sojourners and exiles to abstain from the passions of the flesh, which wage war against your soul.

But each person is tempted when he is lured and enticed by his own desire.Then desire when it has conceived gives birth to sin, and sin when it is fully grown brings forth death.

They close their hearts to pity; with their mouths they speak arrogantly.

My brothers, show no partiality as you hold the faith in our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory.For if a man wearing a gold ring and fine clothing comes into your assembly, and a poor man in shabby clothing also comes in,and if you pay attention to the one who wears the fine clothing and say,“ You sit here in a good place,” while you say to the poor man,“ You stand over there,” or,“ Sit down at my feet,”have you not then made distinctions among yourselves and become judges with evil thoughts?Listen, my beloved brothers, has not God chosen those who are poor in the world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom, which he has promised to those who love him?But you have dishonored the poor man. Are not the rich the ones who oppress you, and the ones who drag you into court?Are they not the ones who blaspheme the honorable name by which you were called?If you really fulfill the royal law according to the Scripture,“ You shall love your neighbor as yourself,” you are doing well.But if you show partiality, you are committing sin and are convicted by the law as transgressors.

And when they saw it, they all grumbled,“ He has gone in to be the guest of a man who is a sinner.”

And you murmured in your tents and said,‘ Because the Lord hated us he has brought us out of the land of Egypt, to give us into the hand of the Amorites, to destroy us.

who shows no partiality to princes, nor regards the rich more than the poor, for they are all the work of his hands?

to execute judgment on all and to convict all the ungodly of all their deeds of ungodliness that they have committed in such an ungodly way, and of all the harsh things that ungodly sinners have spoken against him.”

But Jesus, knowing in himself that his disciples were grumbling about this, said to them,“ Do you take offense at this?

Since you have closed their hearts to understanding, therefore you will not let them triumph.He who informs against his friends to get a share of their property— the eyes of his children will fail.

They set their mouths against the heavens, and their tongue struts through the earth.Therefore his people turn back to them, and find no fault in them.And they say,“ How can God know? Is there knowledge in the Most High?”

I will not show partiality to any man or use flattery toward any person.

knowing this first of all, that scoffers will come in the last days with scoffing, following their own sinful desires.

To show partiality is not good, but for a piece of bread a man will do wrong.

They murmured in their tents, and did not obey the voice of the Lord.

And the Pharisees and their scribes grumbled at his disciples, saying,“ Why do you eat and drink with tax collectors and sinners?”
