此輩怨天尤人、牢騷滿腹、所行惟殉私欲、所言皆屬荒誕、阿諛諂媚、惟利是圖。

Their condemnation, pronounced long ago, is not idle, and their destruction does not sleep.

Therefore, it is you and all your followers who have conspired against the LORD! As for Aaron, who is he that you should complain about him?”

and constant disagreement among people whose minds are depraved and deprived of the truth, who imagine that godliness is a way to material gain.

And don’t grumble as some of them did, and were killed by the destroyer.

“ Do not act unjustly when deciding a case. Do not be partial to the poor or give preference to the rich; judge your neighbor fairly.

who despises the one rejected by the LORD but honors those who fear the LORD, who keeps his word whatever the cost,

in order to live the remaining time in the flesh no longer for human desires, but for God’s will.

They told you,“ In the end time there will be scoffers living according to their own ungodly desires.”

not with lustful passions, like the Gentiles, who don’t know God.

Those who are confused will gain understanding, and those who grumble will accept instruction.

Dear friends, I urge you as strangers and exiles to abstain from sinful desires that wage war against the soul.

But each person is tempted when he is drawn away and enticed by his own evil desire.Then after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin, and when sin is fully grown, it gives birth to death.

Don’t the rich oppress you and drag you into court?Don’t they blaspheme the good name that was invoked over you?Indeed, if you fulfill the royal law prescribed in the Scripture, Love your neighbor as yourself, you are doing well.If, however, you show favoritism, you commit sin and are convicted by the law as transgressors.

All who saw it began to complain,“ He’s gone to stay with a sinful man.”

You grumbled in your tents and said,‘ The LORD brought us out of the land of Egypt to hand us over to the Amorites in order to destroy us, because he hates us.

God is not partial to princes and does not favor the rich over the poor, for they are all the work of his hands.

Jesus, knowing in himself that his disciples were grumbling about this, asked them,“ Does this offend you?

Above all, be aware of this: Scoffers will come in the last days scoffing and following their own evil desires,
