大主行巡狩。聲威何赫奕。霹靂為前驅。大風舞周市。揚聲告天地。吾將鞫寰域。傳語獻祭者。與我有成約。

爾今遭受困辱、天主必賜爾於主耶穌自天顯示之日、與吾儕同受康寧；公義所在、有不得不然者焉。主之臨也、將有無數大能天神衛之、於烈燄中行施報應。凡不識天主、不願服膺吾主耶穌基督之福音者、

願主堅爾之心、使爾聖潔無瑕於天主聖父之前、以待吾主耶穌率領眾聖而蒞臨之日。

當人子偕諸天神、威靈顯赫、駕雲而降也、將坐於尊位、

伊諾被攝昇天、未嘗見死、蓋「天主攝之、人間無得而再遇、」是亦信德之效也。何則、彼於被攝之前、固已得見悅於天主之明證。苟無信德、安能取悅。蓋人之親近天主、必先篤信實有天主、與夫天主之有求必應也。

觀哉、彼駕雲而降矣！凡屬有目、皆當瞻仰；即曩日手釘耶穌於十字架者亦將見之；天下萬族、咸將為之拊膺痛哭。斯言必應、心焉祝之。

人子必當於厥父光榮之中、率眾天神以臨、按人之行、施人以報。

至是、人子之標幟、見於中天。時率土眾民、咸將哀泣、見人子威靈顯赫駕雲而降、遣天神吹角、發音洪亮、集簡選之人於四方、自天此極、至天彼極。
