And they said unto him, From a very far country thy servants are come because of the name of Jehovah thy God: for we have heard the fame of him, and all that he did in Egypt,

對曰、僕所自來、其地甚遠、我儕聞爾上帝耶和華之名、知其所行於埃及、

對曰、僕等緣爾天主耶和華之名、自極遠之地而來、蓋聞其聲名、與其在伊及所行者、

They answered:“ Your servants have come from a very distant country because of the fame of the Lord your God. For we have heard reports of him: all that he did in Egypt,

They answered,“ We’ve come from a country that’s very far away. We’ve come because the Lord your God is famous. We’ve heard reports about him. We’ve heard about everything he did in Egypt.

They said to him,“ From a very distant country your servants have come, because of the name of the Lord your God. For we have heard a report of him, and all that he did in Egypt,

They answered,“ Your servants have come from a very distant country. We have heard of the might of the Lord your God and of all he did in Egypt.

They replied to him,“ Your servants have come from a faraway land because of the reputation of the LORD your God. For we have heard of his fame, and all that he did in Egypt,

They said to him,“ Your servants have come from a very distant country because of the fame of the Lord your God; for we have heard the report about Him and all that He did in Egypt,

So they said to him:“ From a very far country your servants have come, because of the name of the Lord your God; for we have heard of His fame, and all that He did in Egypt,

They replied to him,“ Your servants have come from a far away land because of the reputation of the Lord your God. For we have heard of His fame, and all that He did in Egypt,

And they said unto him, From a very far country thy servants are come because of the name of the LORD thy God: for we have heard the fame of him, and all that he did in Egypt,

They told him,“ Your subjects have come from a very distant land because of the reputation of the LORD your God, for we have heard the news about all he did in Egypt

They said to him,“ Your servants have come from a very far country because of the name of Yahweh your God; for we have heard of his fame, all that he did in Egypt,

And they answered Joshua, and said, Because it was certainly told thy servants, how that Jehovah thy God commanded his servant Moses to give you all the land, and to destroy all the inhabitants of the land from before you; therefore we were sore afraid for our lives because of you, and have done this thing.

Thus shalt thou do unto all the cities which are very far off from thee, which are not of the cities of these nations.

and she said unto the men, I know that Jehovah hath given you the land, and that the fear of you is fallen upon us, and that all the inhabitants of the land melt away before you.For we have heard how Jehovah dried up the water of the Red Sea before you, when ye came out of Egypt; and what ye did unto the two kings of the Amorites, that were beyond the Jordan, unto Sihon and to Og, whom ye utterly destroyed.

but in very deed for this cause have I made thee to stand, to show thee my power, and that my name may be declared throughout all the earth.

Let them praise the name of Jehovah; For his name alone is exalted; His glory is above the earth and the heavens.

Moreover concerning the foreigner, that is not of thy people Israel, when he shall come out of a far country for thy name’s sake

And I will set a sign among them, and I will send such as escape of them unto the nations, to Tarshish, Pul, and Lud, that draw the bow, to Tubal and Javan, to the isles afar off, that have not heard my fame, neither have seen my glory; and they shall declare my glory among the nations.

The peoples have heard, they tremble: Pangs have taken hold on the inhabitants of Philistia.

Now if thou shalt kill this people as one man, then the nations which have heard the fame of thee will speak, saying,

Moreover concerning the foreigner, that is not of thy people Israel, when he shall come from a far country for thy great name’s sake, and thy mighty hand, and thine outstretched arm; when they shall come and pray toward this house:then hear thou from heaven, even from thy dwelling- place, and do according to all that the foreigner calleth to thee for; that all the peoples of the earth may know thy name, and fear thee, as doth thy people Israel, and that they may know that this house which I have built is called by thy name.

For from many of those that had unclean spirits, they came out, crying with a loud voice: and many that were palsied, and that were lame, were healed.

That they may know that thou alone, whose name is Jehovah, Art the Most High over all the earth.

Then the Levites, Jeshua, and Kadmiel, Bani, Hashabneiah, Sherebiah, Hodiah, Shebaniah, and Pethahiah, said, Stand up and bless Jehovah your God from everlasting to everlasting; and blessed be thy glorious name, which is exalted above all blessing and praise.

Behold, thou shalt call a nation that thou knowest not; and a nation that knew not thee shall run unto thee, because of Jehovah thy God, and for the Holy One of Israel; for he hath glorified thee.

And blessed be his glorious name for ever; And let the whole earth be filled with his glory. Amen, and Amen.
