當如是待斯人、使為析薪者、汲水者、服事會眾、但當存其生、不然、恐因我儕與彼所立之誓、而主怒臨及我儕、不然恐因我儕與彼所立之誓而主怒臨及我儕或作否則背我儕與彼所立之誓恐主怒臨及我儕

This is what we will do to them: We will let them live, so that God’s wrath will not fall on us for breaking the oath we swore to them.”

But here is what we’ll do to them. We’ll let them live. Then the Lord won’t be angry with us because we didn’t keep our promise.”

愚昧、背約、不情、不慈、

尼布甲尼撒使其指上帝而誓、彼仍背叛、強其項、剛厥心、不歸服以色列之上帝耶和華、

遽謂斯物為聖、許願而後察之、乃自陷於網羅、

大衛在位之時、饑饉歷三載、大衛諮諏耶和華、耶和華曰、緣掃羅及其流血之家、殺基遍人也、夫基遍人、原為亞摩利族之遺民、不屬以色列族、以色列族與之盟約、掃羅為以色列及猶大人熱中、謀殺戮之、大衛召基遍人、謂之曰、我當為爾何為、何以贖此罪、俾爾為耶和華之業祝嘏、基遍人曰、我儕與掃羅及其家、其間之事、不在金銀、殺以色列一人、亦非我儕所為、王曰、爾所言者、我必為爾行之、曰、昔耶和華簡掃羅為王、彼謀害我、欲行殲滅、使我不存於以色列四境、我願以其後裔七人付我、我將為耶和華、懸之於其邑基比亞、王曰、我必付焉、

彼曰、此乃呪詛、遍行斯土、凡盜竊者、必按卷此面之文而見絕、凡妄誓者、必按卷彼面之文而見絕、萬軍之耶和華曰、我出此卷、使入盜賊之室、與指我名而妄誓者之室、恆處其中、而毀滅之、爰及木石、○

我必蒞臨、行鞫於爾、凡巫覡及淫亂妄誓、負傭值、欺孤寡、屈賓旅、而不畏我者、我必亟證之、萬軍之耶和華言之矣、

謂悖逆之家云、斯事之旨、爾不知之乎、宜告之曰、巴比倫王至耶路撒冷、虜其君王牧伯、攜至巴比倫、揀其王子、與之立約、使之發誓、遷其境內強者、使國為卑、不復振興、但守盟約、猶可保存、惟彼叛巴比倫王、遣使至埃及、欲其給以馬匹軍旅、如是能亨通乎、行是事者、得免難乎、爽約能遠害乎、彼既藐其誓、爽其約、主耶和華曰、我指己生而誓、彼必於立之為王者之都、與之同沒於巴比倫、其敵築壘建營、欲滅邑眾、法老雖率軍旅羣眾、亦不能助其戰、蓋王子既握手立約、乃藐誓爽約、必不能免難、主耶和華曰、我指己生而誓、彼藐我誓、爽我約、我必以此罪歸於其首、必張我網於其上、陷之於我擭、曳至巴比倫、在彼鞫其逆我之罪、其軍中之遁者、必隕於刃、遺民散於四方、爾則知乃我耶和華所言也、○
