基遍、拉瑪、比錄、米斯巴、基非拉、摩撒、利堅、伊利毘勒、他拉拉、洗拉、以利弗、耶布斯、（就是耶路撒冷）、基比亞、基列：十四座城，和屬這些城的村莊：這是便雅憫人按家族所得的產業。

基列耶琳的人就來，將永恆主的櫃接上去；他們把櫃扛到山岡上亞比拿達家中；將他的兒子以利亞撒分別為聖、來看守永恆主的櫃。

從界線又延長，繞西邊往南，從伯和崙南邊東面的山走，其終點是猶大子孫的城基列巴力、就是基列耶琳：這是西邊的界。

基列耶琳人、基非拉人、比錄人、七百四十三名。

所羅門往基遍的邱壇去，全體大眾也跟他一同去；因為在那裏有上帝的會棚，永恆主僕人摩西在曠野所造的。（而上帝的櫃大衛已經從基列耶琳接了上來、到大衛所豫備的地方，因為他曾在耶路撒冷為約櫃搭個帳棚。）

（因為摩西在曠野所造永恆主的帳幕和燔祭壇那時候雖都在基遍的山丘上，

又有基列巴力（基列巴力就是基列耶琳）、拉巴：兩座城，還有屬這兩城的村莊。

於是大衛將以色列人眾人、從埃及的西曷河直到哈馬口、都召集了來，要將上帝的櫃從基列耶琳運來。大衛和以色列眾人上到巴拉、就是屬猶大的基列耶琳，要從那裏將永恆主上帝的櫃運上來；這櫃是以乘坐兩個基路伯的永恆主耶和華之名而起名的。

就很害怕，因為基遍是大城，就像一座王城；它又比艾城大，城裏的人又都是勇士。

那界線又從山頂延到尼弗多亞的水源，出到以弗崙山那些城；又折到巴拉、就是基列耶琳；
