住在约旦河西的山区、丘陵以及地中海沿岸、远至黎巴嫩的诸王，就是那些赫人、亚摩利人、迦南人、比利洗人、希未人和耶布斯人的王听说这件事，

約但西、居山地、居窪地、居對利巴嫩大海濱之諸王、居對利巴嫩大海濱之諸王或作居大海濱至於利巴嫩諸王即赫人、亞摩利人、迦南人、比利洗人、希未人、耶布斯人諸王、既聞斯事、

Now when all the kings west of the Jordan heard about these things— the kings in the hill country, in the western foothills, and along the entire coast of the Mediterranean Sea as far as Lebanon( the kings of the Hittites, Amorites, Canaanites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites)—

All the kings who ruled west of the Jordan River heard about the battles Israel had won. That included the kings who ruled in the central hill country and the western hills. It also included those who ruled along the entire coast of the Mediterranean Sea all the way to Lebanon. They were the kings of the Hittites, Amorites, Canaanites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites.

As soon as all the kings who were beyond the Jordan in the hill country and in the lowland all along the coast of the Great Sea toward Lebanon, the Hittites, the Amorites, the Canaanites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites, heard of this,

Now all the kings west of the Jordan River heard about what had happened. These were the kings of the Hittites, Amorites, Canaanites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites, who lived in the hill country, in the western foothills, and along the coast of the Mediterranean Sea as far north as the Lebanon mountains.

When all the kings heard about Jericho and Ai, those who were west of the Jordan in the hill country, in the Judean foothills, and all along the coast of the Mediterranean Sea toward Lebanon— the Hethites, Amorites, Canaanites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites—

Now it came about when all the kings who were beyond the Jordan, in the hill country, the lowland, and on all the coast of the Great Sea toward Lebanon, the Hittite and the Amorite, the Canaanite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite, heard about it,

And it came to pass when all the kings who were on this side of the Jordan, in the hills and in the lowland and in all the coasts of the Great Sea toward Lebanon— the Hittite, the Amorite, the Canaanite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite— heard about it,

And it came to pass, when all the kings that were beyond the Jordan, in the hill- country, and in the lowland, and on all the shore of the great sea in front of Lebanon, the Hittite, and the Amorite, the Canaanite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite, heard thereof;

When the news reached all the kings on the west side of the Jordan– in the hill country, the lowlands, and all along the Mediterranean coast as far as Lebanon( including the Hittites, Amorites, Canaanites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites)–

When all the kings who were beyond the Jordan, in the hill country, and in the lowland, and on all the shore of the great sea in front of Lebanon, the Hittite, the Amorite, the Canaanite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite, heard of it

爾境之西、即以大海為限。

我將脫爾於苦厄、導爾出埃及至迦南人、赫人、亞摩哩人、比哩洗人、希未人、耶布士人之地、其地產乳與蜜。

我使必導爾入亞摩哩、赫、比哩洗、迦南、希未、耶布士諸族之地、翦滅其眾。

欲使爾知永生上帝左右爾、必於爾前驅逐迦南人、赫人、希未人、比哩洗人、革迦撒人、亞摩哩人、耶布士人。

西界大海之濱、以上所載猶大族四周之界、循其世系。

爾渡約但至耶利哥、耶利哥人與亞摩哩人、比哩洗人、迦南人、赫人、革加西人、希未人、耶布士人、攻爾、我付之爾手。

自近西耳之夏朔至黑門山麓、利巴嫩谷之巴力伽得、約書亞久戰列王、擒而殺之。

眾循命、攜耶路撒冷王、希伯崙王、耶末王、拉吉王、厄倫王、俱出於穴。

東自約但、西至大海、我所滅之國、與所遺之民、我掣籤分其地、與爾支派為業。

是日約書亞取馬基大、刃擊其王、盡滅其民、靡有孑遺。如昔伐耶利哥王、今伐馬基大王亦如是。自馬基大率以色列眾、往攻立拿、耶和華以立拿與王及民、付與以色列族、刃擊居民、靡有孑遺、如昔伐耶利哥王、今伐立拿王亦然。○約書亞自立拿率以色列眾、往拉吉、建營攻之。耶和華以拉吉付於以色列族、二日取之、刃擊拉吉與居民、如昔伐立拿無異。時基色王、和蘭來助拉吉、約書亞擊其王與民、靡有孑遺。○約書亞自拉吉率以色列眾往厄倫、建營攻之。即日取厄倫、刃擊之、翦滅居民、如昔伐拉吉無異。約書亞率以色列眾、自厄倫往攻希伯崙。取希伯崙、刃擊王及民、與其鄉里、翦滅其眾、靡有孑遺、如昔伐厄倫無異。○約書亞率以色列眾、返旆攻底必、遂取底必與其鄉里、擊王與民、翦滅其眾、靡有孑遺、如昔伐希伯崙立拿及其王、今伐底必與其王、亦若是。○

我延袤爾境、自紅海至非利士人海、自曠野至大河、斯土之民、付於爾手、逐於爾前。

約但西、自利巴嫩谷之巴力伽得、至近西耳之夏勒山、約書亞及以色列族擊列王、取其地、與以色列族諸支派、循其班列為業。在陵谷平原、溪濱曠野、至於南方、即赫人、亞摩哩人、迦南人、比哩洗人、希未人、耶布士人之地。耶利哥王、近伯特利之埃王、耶路撒冷王、希伯崙王、耶末王、拉吉王、厄倫王、基色王、底必王、基特王、曷馬王、亞臘王、立拿王、亞土蘭王、馬基大王、伯特利王、大布亞王、希弗王、亞弗王、拉沙倫王、馬頓王、夏朔王、伸崙米倫王、押殺王、大納王、米吉多王、基特王、加密之約念王、多耳界之王、吉甲列國王、得撒王、共三十一王也。

請爾容我濟約但河、觀茲腴壤、及其名山、與利巴嫩。

今日所諭、爾必守之、我將驅亞摩哩人、迦南人、赫人、比哩洗人、希未人、耶布士人於爾前、

基巴勒地、遍利巴嫩之東、自黑門山麓之巴力伽得、至哈末之道。

今爾上帝耶和華、踐其前言、俾爾同儕安居、爾可歸幕、在約但東、耶和華僕摩西所給汝之業、

知基遍邑如王畿、較之於埃、邑大人強、故王與民懼甚。耶路撒冷王亞多尼西特遣人至希伯崙王和咸、耶末王庇蘭、拉吉王耶非亞、厄倫王底必、告之曰、爾曹咸至、助我擊基遍、蓋基遍人與約書亞以色列族修好。亞摩哩五王、即耶路撒冷王、希伯崙王、耶末王、拉吉王、厄倫王、集眾、往基遍地、建營而搦戰。○

昔摩西在巴山地、賜業與馬拿西支派之半、尚有支派之半、約書亞賜業與之於同儕中、在約但西。約但東得業者、約書亞遣之歸幕、爰為祝嘏。

至近比士迦山麓之海、約但東平原俱為所得。

舁耶和華法匱之祭司、在約但河中、立於燥土、待以色列族、盡過約但、若行陸地然。

約但西、亞摩哩列王、及海濱迦南列王、風聞其事、知耶和華於以色列族前、使水盡涸、待民悉濟、則喪其膽、毫無銳氣、懼以色列族。○

夏朔王耶賓、風聞此事、則遣人約馬頓王、約八、與伸崙、押殺二王、暨山地之北、基尼烈南、其間之平原陵谷、至多耳邊疆西隅列王。自東至西之迦南人、亞摩哩人、赫人、比哩洗人、居山之耶布士人、密士巴地。黑門山麓之希未人。列王遂出、率眾如海濱之沙、不可勝數、車馬之多、亦難悉計。列王咸集、建營於米倫水、攻以色列族。

當日耶和華與亞伯蘭約、曰、我以斯土、賜爾苗裔、自埃及河至百辣大河、即基尼、基尼洗、甲摩尼。赫、比哩洗、哩乏音、亞摩哩、迦南、革迦撒、耶布西、諸族之地。

自曠野及利巴嫩、至百辣大河、赫人遍地、爰及大海、日入之處、為爾境界。

反旆取夏朔邑、刃擊其王、昔夏朔為列國之首。以色列族刃擊居民、翦滅其眾、凡有血氣者、靡有孑遺、遂焚夏朔以火。

厥後爾之上帝耶和華、導爾入所得之土、驅逐赫人、革迦西人、亞摩哩人、迦南人比哩洗人、希未人、耶布士人、此七族較爾強大、

迨耶和華以綏安賜爾同儕、可得其地、與爾無異、後爾可歸耶和華僕摩西所賜約但東之地、據而有之、
