住在约旦河西的山区、丘陵以及地中海沿岸、远至黎巴嫩的诸王，就是那些赫人、亚摩利人、迦南人、比利洗人、希未人和耶布斯人的王听说这件事，

約但西、居山地、居窪地、居對利巴嫩大海濱之諸王、居對利巴嫩大海濱之諸王或作居大海濱至於利巴嫩諸王即赫人、亞摩利人、迦南人、比利洗人、希未人、耶布斯人諸王、既聞斯事、

Now when all the kings west of the Jordan heard about these things— the kings in the hill country, in the western foothills, and along the entire coast of the Mediterranean Sea as far as Lebanon( the kings of the Hittites, Amorites, Canaanites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites)—

All the kings who ruled west of the Jordan River heard about the battles Israel had won. That included the kings who ruled in the central hill country and the western hills. It also included those who ruled along the entire coast of the Mediterranean Sea all the way to Lebanon. They were the kings of the Hittites, Amorites, Canaanites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites.

As soon as all the kings who were beyond the Jordan in the hill country and in the lowland all along the coast of the Great Sea toward Lebanon, the Hittites, the Amorites, the Canaanites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites, heard of this,

Now all the kings west of the Jordan River heard about what had happened. These were the kings of the Hittites, Amorites, Canaanites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites, who lived in the hill country, in the western foothills, and along the coast of the Mediterranean Sea as far north as the Lebanon mountains.

When all the kings heard about Jericho and Ai, those who were west of the Jordan in the hill country, in the Judean foothills, and all along the coast of the Mediterranean Sea toward Lebanon— the Hethites, Amorites, Canaanites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites—

Now it came about when all the kings who were beyond the Jordan, in the hill country, the lowland, and on all the coast of the Great Sea toward Lebanon, the Hittite and the Amorite, the Canaanite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite, heard about it,

And it came to pass when all the kings who were on this side of the Jordan, in the hills and in the lowland and in all the coasts of the Great Sea toward Lebanon— the Hittite, the Amorite, the Canaanite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite— heard about it,

And it came to pass, when all the kings that were beyond the Jordan, in the hill- country, and in the lowland, and on all the shore of the great sea in front of Lebanon, the Hittite, and the Amorite, the Canaanite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite, heard thereof;

When the news reached all the kings on the west side of the Jordan– in the hill country, the lowlands, and all along the Mediterranean coast as far as Lebanon( including the Hittites, Amorites, Canaanites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites)–

When all the kings who were beyond the Jordan, in the hill country, and in the lowland, and on all the shore of the great sea in front of Lebanon, the Hittite, the Amorite, the Canaanite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite, heard of it

西界大海、

我已言之、必導爾出埃及之苦、至流乳與蜜之地、即迦南人、赫人、亞摩利人、比利洗人、希未人、耶布斯人之境、

我使先爾、導爾入亞摩利人、赫人、比利洗人、迦南人、希未人、耶布斯人之地、我必翦滅其眾、

又曰、爾可知維生上帝在於爾中、必於爾前驅逐迦南人、赫人、希未人、比利洗人、革迦撒人、亞摩利人、耶布斯人、

西界大海、此乃猶大族四周之界、循其室家、

爾過約但、至耶利哥、耶利哥人、亞摩利人、比利洗人、迦南人、赫人、革迦撒人、希未人、耶布斯人、咸與爾戰、我悉付之爾手、

自上西珥之哈拉山、至黑門山麓、利巴嫩谷之巴力迦得、並取其王、擊而殺之、

遂攜耶路撒冷希伯崙耶末拉吉伊磯倫五王、出穴、詣之、

自約但至大海日入之鄉、所遺之民、及我所滅之族、我以其地分與爾諸支派為業、

是日約書亞取瑪基大、刃擊其邑與其王、滅其居民、靡有孑遺、其待瑪基大王、如昔之待耶利哥王然、約書亞與以色列眾、自瑪基大往攻立拿、耶和華以邑與王、付於以色列人手、刃擊其邑、殺其居民、靡有孑遺、其待立拿王、如昔之待耶利哥王然、約書亞與以色列眾、自立拿往拉吉、建營攻之、耶和華以拉吉付於以色列人手、翌日取之、擊之以刃、殺其居民、如待立拿然、時基色王荷蘭來助拉吉、約書亞擊之、及其民眾、靡有孑遺、約書亞與以色列眾、自拉吉往伊磯倫、建營攻之、即日取之、擊之以刃、滅其居民、如待拉吉然、約書亞與以色列眾、自伊磯倫往攻希伯崙、取之、刃擊其邑與其王、暨厥屬邑、殺其居民、靡有孑遺、如待伊磯倫然、其邑與民、悉翦滅之、約書亞與以色列眾、返攻底璧、取之、並取其王、暨厥屬邑、以刃擊之、滅其居民、靡有孑遺、其待底璧與其王、如待希伯崙立拿與其王然、

將定爾境、自紅海至非利士海、自曠野至大河、斯土之民、將付爾手、逐於爾前、

約但之西、自利巴嫩谷之巴力迦得、至上西珥之哈拉山、約書亞與以色列人擊其王、以其地予以色列支派為業、循其班列、即山地、窪地、亞拉巴、山麓、曠野、南土、乃赫人、亞摩利人、迦南人、比利洗人、希未人、耶布斯人之地、其王如左、耶利哥王、近伯特利之艾王、耶路撒冷王、希伯崙王、耶末王、拉吉王、伊磯倫王、基色王、底璧王、基德王、何珥瑪王、亞拉得王、立拿王、亞杜蘭王、瑪基大王、伯特利王、他普亞王、希弗王、亞弗王、拉沙崙王、瑪頓王、夏瑣王、伸崙米崙王、押煞王、他納王、米吉多王、基低斯王、都迦密之約念王、都那法多珥之多珥王、都吉甲之戈印王、得撒王、共三十一王、

求爾容我渡約但、觀河西之美地佳山、及利巴嫩、

我今所命、爾必守之、我將驅亞摩利人、迦南人、赫人、比利洗人、希未人、耶布斯人於爾前、

又迦巴勒人之地、東方之利巴嫩全地、自黑門山麓之巴力迦得、至哈馬道、

今爾上帝耶和華踐其前言、使爾兄弟得其綏安、爾可返幕、在約但東、耶和華僕摩西所賜爾為業之地、

則懼甚、蓋基遍為大邑、如王都、較艾尤大、人皆勇士、於是耶路撒冷王亞多尼洗德、遣人見希伯崙王何咸、耶末王毘蘭、拉吉王雅非亞、伊磯倫王底璧、告之曰、其來助我、以擊基遍、因其與約書亞及以色列人修好、亞摩利五王、即耶路撒冷王、希伯崙王、耶末王、拉吉王、伊磯倫王、遂相會集、率諸軍往基遍、建營攻之、

昔摩西在巴珊、給業於瑪拿西半支派、其他半支派、約書亞給之以業於兄弟中、在約但西、遣之歸幕時、為之祝嘏、

又得約但東之亞拉巴全地、至亞拉巴之海、近毘斯迦山麓、

舁耶和華約匱之祭司、穩立燥土、在約但河中、待以色列族盡由陸地、而過約但、

約但西亞摩利列王、海濱迦南列王、聞耶和華使約但水涸於以色列人前、以待其濟、則為之心怯而氣餒、○

夏瑣王耶賓既聞此事、遣人往見瑪頓王約巴、暨伸崙押煞二王、與居北方山地、暨基尼烈南之亞拉巴、那弗多珥西之窪地諸王、及居東西之迦南人、與亞摩利人、赫人、比利洗人、並居山地之耶布斯人、米斯巴地、黑門山麓之希未人、皆率軍旅而出、其人多如海沙、車馬甚眾、列王咸集、建營米倫水濱、欲與以色列人戰、

當日耶和華與亞伯蘭約、曰、我以斯土、賜爾苗裔、自埃及河、至伯拉大河、即基尼、基尼洗、甲摩尼、赫、比利洗、利乏音、亞摩利、迦南、革迦撒、耶布斯諸族之地、

自曠野暨利巴嫩、至伯拉大河、赫族全地、爰及大海日入之所、咸為爾境、

夏瑣素為諸國之首、約書亞返取之、刃擊其王、以色列人刃擊居民、悉行翦滅、凡有氣息者、靡有孑遺、火焚夏瑣、

迨爾上帝耶和華、導爾入所往據之地、驅逐諸族、即赫人、革迦撒人、亞摩利人、迦南人、比利洗人、希未人、耶布斯人、此七族較爾強大、

迨耶和華錫爾兄弟綏安、如錫於爾、使之亦得爾上帝耶和華所賜之地、後乃返得爾業、即耶和華僕摩西所予約但東日出之地、
