as Moses the servant of the Lord had commanded the Israelites. He built it according to what is written in the Book of the Law of Moses— an altar of uncut stones, on which no iron tool had been used. On it they offered to the Lord burnt offerings and sacrificed fellowship offerings.

Moses, the servant of the Lord, had commanded the Israelites to do that. Joshua built the altar according to what is written in the Book of the Law of Moses. Joshua built the altar out of stones that iron tools had never touched. Then the people offered on the altar burnt offerings to the Lord. They also sacrificed friendship offerings on it.

just as Moses the servant of the Lord had commanded the people of Israel, as it is written in the Book of the Law of Moses,“ an altar of uncut stones, upon which no man has wielded an iron tool.” And they offered on it burnt offerings to the Lord and sacrificed peace offerings.

He followed the commands that Moses the Lord’s servant had written in the Book of Instruction:“ Make me an altar from stones that are uncut and have not been shaped with iron tools.” Then on the altar they presented burnt offerings and peace offerings to the Lord.

你要為我築一座土壇，在上面獻牛羊為燔祭和平安祭。凡在我叫你記念我名的地方，我必到那裏賜福給你。你若為我築一座石壇，不可用鑿過的石頭，因為你在石頭上動了工具，就使壇污穢了。

你在那裏要為耶和華－你的神築一座石壇，卻不可動用鐵器在石頭上。要用沒有鑿過的石頭築耶和華－你神的壇，在壇上將燔祭獻給耶和華－你的神，又要獻平安祭，在那裏吃，在耶和華－你的神面前歡樂。

以利亞按照雅各子孫支派的數目，取了十二塊石頭；耶和華的話曾臨到雅各，說：「你的名要叫以色列。」以利亞用這些石頭為耶和華的名築一座壇，在壇的四圍挖溝，可容納二細亞穀種。

把燔祭拿走，再按着父家的班次分給眾百姓，照摩西書上所寫的獻給耶和華；獻牛也是這樣。

隨後，約書亞將律法上祝福和詛咒的話，照着律法書上一切所寫的，宣讀一遍。摩西所吩咐的一切話，約書亞在以色列全會眾和婦女、孩童，以及住在他們中間的外人面前，沒有一句不宣讀的。

在那日，百姓聽到人朗讀摩西的律法書，發現書上寫着，亞捫人和摩押人永不可入神的會；

希勒家大祭司對沙番書記說：「我在耶和華殿裏發現了律法書。」希勒家把書遞給沙番，沙番就讀了。

他們派祭司按着班次，利未人也按着班次在耶路撒冷事奉神，正如摩西律法書上所寫的。

卻沒有處死殺王兇手的兒子，正如摩西律法書上耶和華所吩咐的說：「不可因子殺父，也不可因父殺子，各人要為自己的罪而死。」

他差派以色列的年輕人去獻燔祭，又宰牛獻給耶和華為平安祭。

若撒但趕出撒但，就是自相紛爭，他的國怎能立得住呢？

卻沒有處死他們的兒子，這是照摩西律法書上耶和華所吩咐的說：「不可因子殺父，也不可因父殺子，各人要為自己的罪而死。」

摩西的岳父葉特羅把燔祭和祭物獻給神。亞倫和以色列的眾長老都來了，與摩西的岳父在神面前吃飯。

這律法書不可離開你的口，總要晝夜思想，好使你謹守遵行這書上所寫的一切話。如此，你的道路就可以亨通，凡事順利。
