as Moses the servant of the Lord had commanded the Israelites. He built it according to what is written in the Book of the Law of Moses— an altar of uncut stones, on which no iron tool had been used. On it they offered to the Lord burnt offerings and sacrificed fellowship offerings.

Moses, the servant of the Lord, had commanded the Israelites to do that. Joshua built the altar according to what is written in the Book of the Law of Moses. Joshua built the altar out of stones that iron tools had never touched. Then the people offered on the altar burnt offerings to the Lord. They also sacrificed friendship offerings on it.

He followed the commands that Moses the Lord’s servant had written in the Book of Instruction:“ Make me an altar from stones that are uncut and have not been shaped with iron tools.” Then on the altar they presented burnt offerings and peace offerings to the Lord.

And afterward he read all the words of the law, the blessing and the curse, according to all that is written in the Book of the Law.There was not a word of all that Moses commanded that Joshua did not read before all the assembly of Israel, and the women, and the little ones, and the sojourners who lived among them.

On that day they read from the Book of Moses in the hearing of the people. And in it was found written that no Ammonite or Moabite should ever enter the assembly of God,

And Hilkiah the high priest said to Shaphan the secretary,“ I have found the Book of the Law in the house of the Lord.” And Hilkiah gave the book to Shaphan, and he read it.

And they set the priests in their divisions and the Levites in their divisions, for the service of God at Jerusalem, as it is written in the Book of Moses.

But he did not put to death the children of the murderers, according to what is written in the Book of the Law of Moses, where the Lord commanded,“ Fathers shall not be put to death because of their children, nor shall children be put to death because of their fathers. But each one shall die for his own sin.”

And he sent young men of the people of Israel, who offered burnt offerings and sacrificed peace offerings of oxen to the Lord.

And if Satan casts out Satan, he is divided against himself. How then will his kingdom stand?

But he did not put their children to death, according to what is written in the Law, in the Book of Moses, where the Lord commanded,“ Fathers shall not die because of their children, nor children die because of their fathers, but each one shall die for his own sin.”

And Jethro, Moses’ father-in-law, brought a burnt offering and sacrifices to God; and Aaron came with all the elders of Israel to eat bread with Moses’ father-in-law before God.

This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.
