厥後、約書亞擊殺之、懸諸五木、至於日暮、日入時、循約書亞命、取屍下木、擲於所匿之穴、置大石於穴口、至今猶存、○是日約書亞取瑪基大、刃擊其邑與其王、滅其居民、靡有孑遺、其待瑪基大王、如昔之待耶利哥王然、

我又見一使立於日中、大聲而呼、謂凡飛於天空之鳥曰、來、集赴上帝之盛筵、俾得食君王將帥勇士、及馬與乘之者、或自主為奴、與卑者尊者之肉、○
