我豈沒有吩咐你嗎？你當剛強壯膽，不要懼怕，也不要驚惶，因為你無論往哪裏去，耶和華你的神必與你同在。」

你不必怕他們，要牢牢記住耶和華－你神向法老和埃及全地所行的事，

看，耶和華－你的神已將那地擺在你面前，你要照耶和華－你列祖的神所說的，上去得那地為業。不要懼怕，也不要驚惶。』

耶和華對約書亞說：「看，我已經把耶利哥城和耶利哥王，以及大能的勇士，都交在你手中。

耶和華必在你前面行，他必親自與你同在，必不撇下你，也不丟棄你。你不要懼怕，也不要驚惶。」

「看哪！神是我的拯救；我要倚靠他，並不懼怕。因為主耶和華是我的力量，是我的詩歌，他也成了我的拯救。」

我的僕人雅各啊，不要懼怕！以色列啊，不要驚惶！因我要從遠方拯救你，從被擄之地拯救你的後裔。雅各必回來，得享平靜安逸，無人令他害怕。

耶和華是我的亮光，是我的拯救，我還怕誰呢？耶和華是我生命的保障，我還懼誰呢？

地上所有的居民都算為虛無；在天上萬軍和地上居民中，他都憑自己的旨意行事。無人能攔住他的手，或問他說，你在做甚麼呢？

你，王啊，你是諸王之王。天上的神已將國度、權勢、能力、尊榮都賜給你。世人和走獸，並天空的飛鳥，不論居住何處，他都交在你的手中，令你掌管這一切。你就是那金的頭。

因為他們不是靠自己的刀劍承受土地，也不是靠自己的膀臂得勝，而是靠你的右手、你的膀臂，和你臉上的亮光，因為你喜愛他們。

你從水中經過，我必與你同在，你渡過江河，水必不漫過你；你在火中行走，也不被燒傷，火焰必不燒着你身。

你不要害怕，因為我與你同在；不要驚惶，因為我是你的神。我必堅固你，幫助你，用我公義的右手扶持你。看哪，凡向你發怒的都抱愧蒙羞，與你相爭的必如無有，並要滅亡。與你爭鬥的，你要尋找他們，卻遍尋不着；與你爭戰的必如無有，成為虛無。因為我耶和華－你的神必攙扶你的右手，對你說：「不要害怕！我必幫助你。」蟲子雅各，以色列人哪，不要害怕！我必幫助你；救贖你的是以色列的聖者。這是耶和華說的。看哪，我使你成為全新的打穀機，齒輪銳利；你要把山嶺打得粉碎，使岡陵如同糠粃。你要簸揚它們，風要將它們吹去；旋風要颳散它們。你卻要以耶和華為喜樂，因以色列的聖者誇耀。

萬軍之耶和華與我們同在，雅各的神是我們的避難所！

他改變時間、季節，他廢王，立王；將智慧賜給智慧人，將知識賜給聰明人。

耶穌說：「你們這些小信的人哪，為甚麼膽怯呢？」於是他起來，斥責風和海，風和海就大大平靜了。

迦南人和這地所有的居民聽見了就必圍困我們，把我們的名從地上除去。那時，你為你至大的名要怎樣做呢？」

你必被趕出離開世人，與野地的走獸同住，吃草如牛，讓天上的露水滴濕，且要經過七個時期，直等到你知道至高者在人的國中掌權，要將國賜給誰就賜給誰。

約書亞和以色列的長老就撕裂衣服，在耶和華的約櫃前臉伏於地，直到晚上。他們把灰撒在頭上。約書亞說：「唉！主耶和華啊，你為甚麼領這百姓過約旦河，把我們交在亞摩利人手中，使我們滅亡呢？我們不如住在約旦河的那邊！
