Then Joshua, together with all Israel, took Achan son of Zerah, the silver, the robe, the gold bar, his sons and daughters, his cattle, donkeys and sheep, his tent and all that he had, to the Valley of Achor.

Then Joshua and all the people grabbed Achan, the son of Zerah. They took the silver, the robe and the gold bar. They took Achan’s sons and daughters. They took his cattle, donkeys and sheep. They also took his tent and everything he had. They carried all of it out to the Valley of Achor.

And Joshua and all Israel with him took Achan the son of Zerah, and the silver and the cloak and the bar of gold, and his sons and daughters and his oxen and donkeys and sheep and his tent and all that he had. And they brought them up to the Valley of Achor.

Then Joshua and all the Israelites took Achan, the silver, the robe, the bar of gold, his sons, daughters, cattle, donkeys, sheep, goats, tent, and everything he had, and they brought them to the valley of Achor.

Then Joshua and all Israel with him took Achan son of Zerah, the silver, the cloak, and the bar of gold, his sons and daughters, his ox, donkey, and sheep, his tent, and all that he had, and brought them up to the Valley of Achor.

Then Joshua and all Israel took Achan, son of Zerah, along with the silver, the robe, the bar of gold, his sons, daughters, ox, donkey, sheep, tent, and all that belonged to him and brought them up to the Valley of Disaster.

Joshua, and all Israel with him, took Achan the son of Zerah, the silver, the robe, the wedge of gold, his sons, his daughters, his cattle, his donkeys, his sheep, his tent, and all that he had; and they brought them up to the valley of Achor.

從亞割谷往北到底璧，到谷南亞都冥隘口對面的吉甲，經隱·示麥泉，直到隱·羅結；

沙崙必成為牧放羊群的草場，亞割谷必成為牛群休憩的地方，這些地方必屬於尋求我的人。

他們在亞干身上堆起一大堆石頭，那些石頭今天還在。耶和華這才息怒，因此那地方至今還叫亞割谷。

不可跪拜它們，也不可供奉它們，因為我——你的上帝耶和華痛恨不貞，我必追討背棄我之人的罪，從父到子直到三四代。

那些渴望發財的人卻陷入誘惑、網羅和許多愚蠢有害的慾望中，以致落入敗壞和滅亡中。貪財是萬惡之根，有人因為貪財就離棄了信仰，結果飽嚐種種錐心般的痛苦。

會眾便離開可拉、大坍和亞比蘭的帳篷。大坍和亞比蘭帶著妻小出來，站在自己的帳篷門口。摩西對會眾說：「你們很快就知道，我所做的事都是奉耶和華之命而行，並非出於私意。如果這些人像常人一樣死去，遭遇跟世人無異，我就不是耶和華派來的。但如果耶和華做一件前所未有的事，使地裂開，吞下他們和屬於他們的一切，使他們活生生地墜入陰間，你們就知道這些人藐視耶和華了。」摩西的話剛說完，這些人腳下的地就裂開，

我要把葡萄園賜給她，使災禍之谷成為希望之門。她要在那裡快樂地歌唱，如在妙齡時的日子，如從埃及出來之時。」

貪愛財富，自害己家；厭惡賄賂，安然存活。

你絕不會黑白不分，把義人和惡人一同毀滅。你是普天下的審判者，難道不秉公行事嗎？」

用刀殺了城裡所有的男女老少、牛羊和驢。

上帝的怒火如雨降在他身上，填滿他的肚腹。他躲過了鐵刃，卻被銅箭射穿。利箭穿透他的後背，閃亮的箭頭刺破他的膽囊，恐怖籠罩著他。他的財寶消失在幽冥中，天火要吞噬他，焚毀他帳篷中殘留的一切。天要揭露他的罪惡，地要站出來指控他。在上帝發烈怒的日子，洪流將席捲他的家產。

他要吐出所吞下的財富，上帝要倒空他腹中之物。

「『我見你謀財害命，就擊掌歎息。在我懲罰你的日子，你還有勇氣和力量嗎？我耶和華言出必行，

以色列人在當毀滅之物的事上犯了罪。因為猶大支派中謝拉的曾孫、撒底的孫子、迦米的兒子亞干拿了一些本該毀滅的東西，耶和華便向以色列人發怒。

我看到日光之下有一件可悲的事：有人積攢財寶，反而害了自己。

你們要小心，不可私拿任何應當毀滅的東西，免得你們自取滅亡，並給以色列全營帶來災禍。
