戰事起、恃智謀、議士多、能獲勝、

定策每因集議、決戰宜有智謀、

由此遷往伯特利東之山、以張其幕、西有伯特利、東有艾、又為耶和華築壇於彼、而籲其名、

我遣爾似羊入狼中、故當智如蛇、馴如鴿、

便雅憫人自迦巴而下、居於密抹、亞雅、伯特利及其鄉里、

其邑原名路斯、易之曰伯特利、

其王如左、耶利哥王、近伯特利之艾王、

慎顧爾行、勿若無智、乃若有智、
