Then Joshua said to Achan,“ My son, give glory to the Lord, the God of Israel, and honor him. Tell me what you have done; do not hide it from me.”

Joshua said to Achan,“ My son, the Lord is the God of Israel. So give him glory and honor him by telling the truth! Tell me what you have done. Don’t hide it from me.”

Then Joshua said to Achan,“ My son, give glory to the Lord God of Israel and give praise to him. And tell me now what you have done; do not hide it from me.”

Then Joshua said to Achan,“ My son, give glory to the Lord, the God of Israel, by telling the truth. Make your confession and tell me what you have done. Don’t hide it from me.”

So Joshua said to Achan,“ My son, give glory to the LORD, the God of Israel, and make a confession to him. I urge you, tell me what you have done. Don’t hide anything from me.”

Then Joshua said to Achan,“ My son, I implore you, give glory to the Lord, the God of Israel, and give praise to Him; and tell me now what you have done. Do not hide it from me.”

Now Joshua said to Achan,“ My son, I beg you, give glory to the Lord God of Israel, and make confession to Him, and tell me now what you have done; do not hide it from me.”

And Joshua said unto Achan, My son, give, I pray thee, glory to Jehovah, the God of Israel, and make confession unto him; and tell me now what thou hast done; hide it not from me.

So Joshua said to Achan,“ My son, give glory to the Lord, the God of Israel, and make a confession to Him. I urge you, tell me what you have done. Don’t hide anything from me.”

And Joshua said unto Achan, My son, give, I pray thee, glory to the LORD God of Israel, and make confession unto him; and tell me now what thou hast done; hide[ it] not from me.

So Joshua said to Achan,“ My son, honor the LORD God of Israel and give him praise! Tell me what you did; don’t hide anything from me!”

Joshua said to Achan,“ My son, please give glory to Yahweh, the God of Israel, and make confession to him. Tell me now what you have done! Don’t hide it from me!”

所以當製造你們痔瘡的像和毀壞你們田地老鼠的像，並要歸榮耀給以色列的神，或者他向你們和你們的神，並你們的田地，把手放輕些。

耶和華－你們的神未使黑暗來到，你們的腳未在昏暗山上絆跌之先，當將榮耀歸給他；免得你們盼望光明，他使光明變為死蔭，成為幽暗。

所以法利賽人第二次叫了那從前瞎眼的人來，對他說：「你該將榮耀歸給神，我們知道這人是個罪人。」

希西家慰勞一切善於事奉耶和華的利未人。於是眾人吃節筵七日，又獻平安祭，且向耶和華－他們列祖的神認罪。

我向耶和華－我的神祈禱、認罪，說：「主啊，大而可畏的神，向愛主、守主誡命的人守約施慈愛。

「你曉諭以色列人說：無論男女，若犯了人所常犯的罪，以致干犯耶和華，那人就有了罪。他要承認所犯的罪，將所虧負人的，如數賠還，另外加上五分之一，也歸與所虧負的人。

除了這外族人，再沒有別人回來歸榮耀與神嗎？」

人被大熱所烤，就褻瀆那有權掌管這些災的神之名，並不悔改將榮耀歸給神。

祭司以斯拉站起來，對他們說：「你們有罪了；因你們娶了外邦的女子為妻，增添以色列人的罪惡。現在當向耶和華－你們列祖的神認罪，遵行他的旨意，離絕這些國的民和外邦的女子。」

用溫柔勸戒那抵擋的人；或者神給他們悔改的心，可以明白真道，

遮掩自己罪過的，必不亨通；承認離棄罪過的，必蒙憐恤。

因為，我知道我的過犯；我的罪常在我面前。

你去向北方宣告說：耶和華說：背道的以色列啊，回來吧！我必不怒目看你們；因為我是慈愛的，我必不永遠存怒。這是耶和華說的。只要承認你的罪孽，就是你違背耶和華－你的神，在各青翠樹下向別神東奔西跑，沒有聽從我的話。這是耶和華說的。

總而言之，你們都要同心，彼此體恤，相愛如弟兄，存慈憐謙卑的心。不以惡報惡，以辱罵還辱罵，倒要祝福；因你們是為此蒙召，好叫你們承受福氣。

因為，人心裏相信就可以稱義，口裏承認就可以得救。

我向你陳明我的罪，不隱瞞我的惡。我說：我要向耶和華承認我的過犯，你就赦免我的罪惡。（細拉）

眾人對他說：「請你告訴我們，這災臨到我們是因誰的緣故？你以何事為業？你從哪裏來？你是哪一國？屬哪一族的人？」他說：「我是希伯來人。我敬畏耶和華－那創造滄海旱地之天上的神。」他們就大大懼怕，對他說：「你做的是甚麼事呢？」他們已經知道他躲避耶和華，因為他告訴了他們。

他在急難的時候，就懇求耶和華－他的神，且在他列祖的神面前極其自卑。他祈禱耶和華，耶和華就允准他的祈求，垂聽他的禱告，使他歸回耶路撒冷，仍坐國位。瑪拿西這才知道惟獨耶和華是神。

因為人的怒氣並不成就神的義。

我必使人比精金還少，使人比俄斐純金更少。

勸老年人要有節制、端莊、自守，在信心、愛心、忍耐上都要純全無疵。
